  • I am very grateful you revisited this wood - it's so mesmerizing to look at. All your design choices were wonderful - I disagreed with every of them and yet, it was always the right way to go to maximize the final look. Thanks for all you do!

Today, our daughter who was here with our grand-son said to us, Harason, if grumpy asks you to hold a light and pass him a spanner, run, now, tell him to find the video on mums chrome book and leave the message and that ! ain't a joke, Mike, I do enjoy the art work, and yes it is art, which you have the talent to turn out and show.

    • That is awesome! How did you sand yours? 😀

      @MikeHolton@MikeHolton3 ай бұрын
    • I used the Hope system on a drill and sanded very lightly. An old cabinate maker showed me how to sand to perfection with P120... simply by reducing the pressure I put on the abrasive. When he was an apprentice he had to sand veneers and only had P120/P150 so he was taught how to sand without going through grits. However, for me, it was time consuming at first because I was learning so I am going to try your method to start and then finish with very light sanding in each grit. When I was shown the light sanding method the gentleman scratched a piece of resin with P120 to ensure the scratches were very visible and then sanded the scratches out with the same piece of paper... it was like watching magic. I am pretty busy right now but I'll do a video next week showing the method and post a link here. B.
