I remember watching this as a teenager and thinking it was something me and my friends could try at home. Now watching it 15 years later I realize that at any moment either of them could’ve broken their necks with an unbroken fall. I love how Steve O was so good on stilts because of his history with them. He could back step Dunn's punches. That blew my mind at how good he was on them

If you watch some old footage, he was a clown that walked on stilts, etc. He had some advantage, who knows.
In his biography he goes on about his training as a circus clown and his love of entertainment. He has such a crazy background it is a miracle he is still alive after the shit he went through. I highly reccomend buying his book it is very detailed and has photos from as early as birth.

The good old days, when we had shows like Jackass that were punk rock, they just went for it and didn't care if they were doing things right. If Jackass were done today it would be so fake looking, like all the trash "reality" shows. Plus they wouldn't be allowed to do 3/4 of the crap they did back then.
