I don't like the idea of swapping an engine because it feels like ripping out the heart of the car. So my favourite engine swap would be the same engine because you blew the old one up. OR if you really wanna do an engine swap you might aswell go crazy. So go ahead, find the smallest car that you can fit a wwII plane engine inside of and do it. Easy 10x hp

The last clip is a Toyota Hiace, however judging from the sound of the engine I'm sure it is an Isuzu 4jj1 engine. It's a 3.0 I4 which is very tuner friendly and very common in racing in Asia. Think of it as the 4g63 of the diesel world. I hope this comment helped you

One of the craziest swaps I have ever seen in the UK was an Austin mini van with a 3.5 ltr V8 in the back and the original 850 cc engine still in the front

The drag van AKA the Toyota HiAce. Commonly found with a 3.0L diesel engine. Plus it's intercooled , turbo stock. Pumps out 138 hp or 130 hp depending on your country.

The one @ 10:58 I seen this van MRX built 2 years ago in person. Inline 8 cummings with 1 turbos per 2 cylinders in ass end of that van. all cooling and stuff you see upfront all piped in turbo overflow boxes and stuff super crazy build! The waste gates are not existent on that thing. all over flow gets blown into boxes and stored for next go weird build!

In South Africa we know that van as a Toyota Quantam and the engine is a d4d 3.0 4cyl tdi. Same as a Toyota Hilux

First one is a Cuda. The Barracuda was slightly different.
Very different. Was the older one. Different body and chassis
Cuda is just a trim/options package like Super Sport, 70-74 still had Barracuda's, that one is a 1972 or later.

On the 2j Cuda based on the turbo housing was gonna guess 1000-1100 if it had the right injectors was off by 100ish hp.. The rb25 swapped beamer is just obnoxious like alot of beamers so it kinda fits the m.o never really thought I'd say that about an rb but the BMW guys had no other choice lol

The last one of the van is thialand stuff. Usually a diesel 4cylinder around 3liters made my gm or Isuzu. They rev high I think around 6 or 7000rpms when modified like in this video.

i think it took them like 2 years to build the viper swap 350z, from my understanding, when i last seen it, they said they were going to i think it was 2 years back. That's when they had done the ferarri swapped 86
1kz is a 3l turbo diesel motor that Toyota used to sell in their vans and hilux which were very tuner friendly as well. The new vans have a different motor but it could be they have swapped for the mighty 1kz

At 3:12 I was expecting more horsepower out of a turbo that size, plus surprised it spooled up at only 1200 rpm’s for that size as well. But hey, what do I know. That turbo looked to be the size of the 1.3 Wankel.😮
