Is more cowbell gonna be no1?
top digital short please!
THE “drivers license” SKETCH WAS SO FRICKEN ICONIC I COULDNT NOT LAUGHING
Did they remove it from KZhead? I can’t find it anymore
‘What’s up with That’ should’ve not only been on this list…but should’ve been #1. The entire sketch is basically the theme song that the host can’t stop singing regardless of who his famous guests are. The production of it is amazing and hilarious. Its a musical masterpiece.
Thanks to “More Cowbell” if I hear cowbell in a song, it’s ALL I hear
I don't think I've ever felt more ancient than when Ms Mojo clarifies that The Lawrence Welk show "ran on ABC in the mid-twentieth century."
Ouch. I feel like I need my cane now.
Taran Killam is so underrated STILL
"More Cowbell" is all I think about to this day after watching it, then I'm in stitches! But that "Diner Lobster" sketch will be in my head for days!
King Tut with Steve Martin should be #1.
I forgot about that and you are right.
John Mulaney is Genius!!!!!!
Airport Sushi deserved way better than a 10th place.
the crab version of les mis is the funniest snl sketch in my opinion❤️ Pete breaking character in it is also hilarious
Moffat waving the menu mounted on a stick like it's a flag was the perfect touch.
I enjoy the Justin Timberlake ones where he’s doing singing and dancing for charity, like “Wrapping-ville” with Jimmy Fallon.😂
"Did somebody say 'wine'?"
What about junk in the box
Sumpin Claus is frigging hilarious, Keenan kills it! "Everybody's gettin sumpin!" 🤣🤣🤣 Also no Home For Thanksgiving with Cameron Diaz?? "Bowls, bowls, all types of bowls"😂😂😂 this needs a part 2 lol
i’m a back home balla!
These were both in another list, Top 20 Best SNL Music Videos of all time
Lunch Lady Land is amazing!
You forgot the great wedding skit where they tried to sing I just died in your arms tonight but they only knew the chorus
Great list but missing two of my all-time favourites: Cha Cha Slide (also with John Mulaney), and Bar Fight (Lollipop), which inspired the Driver's License one.
Dongs All Over The World was EPIC. It so should of made at least a honorable mention.
yesssssssssss, #8 is my favorite cause it’s so cute and sudden honestly
Don’t forget Mulaney’s NY Souvenir Store!
Rest in peace chris farley
Kristien Wigg and Bowen Yang's USO Performance should have been here tbh
I need to start watching this show. These are amusing
Chris Farley and Adam Sandler are still probably the best sketches that were/are on SNL xxx How can u compete with "Lunch Lady Land"😂😂😂
Nothing is more iconic than the Blue Oyster Cult Behind the Music sketch…love Mulaney, but his weird ass musical skits are NOWHERE near the level of Will banging on that cowbell!! Laos, where was Will and Kattan’s Air Supply spoof or wedding singer sketch!? Both of those were absolutely hilarious!!
Diner lobster has to be #1 lol
Omg the Chloe sketch is like ghoul girl Chloe from days of our lives
The sisters on the Lawrence Welk show were based on the Lennon Sisters, not the characters from White Christmas and Lawrence Welk's accent is North Dakota. That being said...no Justin Timberlake? No What's Up With That? No Cha Cha Slide? Who voted on these?
Welk was born in the German-speaking community of Strasburg, North Dakota. He was sixth of the eight children of Ludwig and Christiana (née Schwahn) Welk, Roman Catholic ethnic Germans who emigrated in 1892 from Odessa, Russian Empire (now Ukraine).
Where’s space pants???
OMG! I love Space Pants!
Sorry. But Fallon and Timberlakes Bee Gees sketch is the funniest. Can anyone say, chest hairs? And Justin looks exactly like Robin.
That one isn’t explicitly musical though. It falls more under “talk show parody”
What about the Pandora skit with Bruno Mars. Or the Bryan Cranston skit with the bottle of sparkling apple juice
😱 No _"What's Up With That?!"_ 🤯
I wrote the same thing.
@@Jamaicafunk No other SNL song sticks in my head quite like that one does! 😄 Not even an honorable mention. 🤦🏼♂️
@@CaesiusX well. There’s also ‘Astronaut Jones’!
Deep cut @@Jamaicafunk! 😎👍 When I first heard *Tracy* doing that theme, I thought it might have been an actual track from some swingin' 60's lounge album (a la _Burt Bacharach_ style). It nailed a very specific sound. And as always, *Tracy's* expression was the icing on the cake. 🤣 👨🏿🚀 _". . .Oh wait, I hear somebody."_
@@CaesiusX it also paid homage to Esquivel’s space age Jazz Lounge albums of the 60s. Astronaut Jones should have also been on this list since the theme song was actually longer than the skit itself.
Includes Ariana Grande's impression skit, but no honorable mention for Bruno Mars' impression skit which came first
definitely would switch #1 and #2...the lobster one is just "OK", but the Cowbell one, that one changed lives, and history...
I like the one where Harry Styles played a dog 😂
Yes! So hilarious.
But it was a digital short so it doesn't count for this I guess 😕
Sumptin Clause!!!
I'm a little loyal towards the original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players", and with that, my personal choice is the Blues Brothers (Dan Akroyd & John Belushi) for 🥇 in my book. 🥈 & 🥉, for sad reasons, go to the the Harlem Choir for singing "Silent Night" the night after the Sandy Hook tragedy and Jason Aldean performing "Won't Back Down" after the tragic Las Vegas shooting & Tom Petty's death.
Swap out the Tidal sketch for the Pandora one. 😏
fantastic
My favorite "SNL" musical sketch is "Lunch Lady Land", with "More Cowbell" being a close second.
Also good - We Are the World 3 - Bruno Mars Pandora sketch
We are the world 3 was also pretty good!
Hello MsMojo...would u be willing (if you have not yet) to make a video on top 10 times where the musical guest make appearance in sketches?
I think the pride song and weird little flute should at least be honorable mentions
No
Those are pre recorded songs
More 'More Cowbell' and 'A C%&k in a box' are my 2 funniest favorites
i see SNL and i click! t y ms mojo!
Number 8 is not musical, they just sing along with the song and number 4 basically a singer/ celebrity’s impressions.
I was going to think 'Salad' with Daniel Craig would fit this countdown, but that was a pre-taped sketch.
Cool top 10
I kind of wish Stu was on here. It’s so unexpected.
Y'all're really sleeping on Murder Show 😔😩
more cowbell should have been #1!
Ironically, Unless You're REALLY Paying Attention to It ... You BARELY Hear the Cowbell in "Don't Fear the Reaper"!!!
Hmm. No honorable mention of the Adele Thanksgiving skit where they all are sitting around the table and when they start bickering the little girl turns on Adele's Hello and they all sing along and slowly morph into Adele from the music video until the music cuts out again.
Hi could you do more snl videos and some Days of our lives videos plz ty
WHERE IS "SPACE PANTS" WITH PETER DINKLAGE!!???
My favorite is The Lawrence Welk show 😂
Lunch Lady is #1. Period.
I'm simple person- I see Olivia Rodrigo, I click
What about the blues brothers though??
My friend owns a Texas microbrewery with a More Cowbell double IPA.
Just wen I was ready to give up the KZhead community showed me wat real love felt like dis for you thankyou an I'm nothing without you ASÉ 🎼
I saw liv in the thumbnail and clicked :)
good video
Aww look at young jimbean. You forgot to mention jimmy had a reunion with them on the tonight show
Why Isn't Hot Tub Or King Tut On This List There Are Lots Missing Remember When They Sang To Chevy Chase When He Got Hurt
Number one should have been the second on your list.
nice
Didn't the blues brothers start on snl? How are they not on the list
The only thing this list is missing is the episode where the cast sing Adele's "Someone like you" as they all cry over the hardships in their life
Lmao Lunch Lady Land takes me back to childhood 😂😂😂
I figured the Christmas one with the ladies< Do It On My Twin Bed was going to be number one when it wasn’t an honourable mention! The writing, the singing, everything was perfect!
This is the one I was waiting for!! I guess because it’s a “video” and not a sketch it didn’t count.
I would have put what up with that on here
The crab one better be in here
Yet another list from the Mojo universe that should have been a Top 20, as well as proving once again they hire no one over the age of 30. You left out both of Natalie Portman's rap digital shorts, the premier of The Blues Brothers, Sumpin' Claus (still my #1) and Dick in a Box. I think other commenters have likely covered some of the other rather egregious omissions.
y’all missed SO many!
Anna Kendrick as The Little Mermaid
I want to see more Bts videos
everyone knew the nr.1 btw!
If number one went to anything else it would’ve been a travesty
I loved this video; most of it made me want to go into KZhead and see the original sketches again. My only issue that that I would reverse your Number One and Number Two sketches. Lobster Diner was good, but it didn't spawn a catch-phrase. Whenever you see something over the top, it's acceptable to say, "I gotta have more cowbell!" Everyone knows what you are talking about. Diner Lobster hasn't done that.
I'm very confused by this list. Maybe I just don't understand what digital shorts are because there were so many options that got left off. IS "D*** in a Box" a digital short? How is Wrappin-Ville or the other versions of that sketch not on this list? There's also Anna Kendrick playing Ariel and we expect her to sing but instead she busts out Nicki Minaj and other rap songs. I know it's older but I agree with another commenter that Steve Martin and Martin Short should be on this list too. This list heavily featured John Mulaney. It would have been better if you had picked 1 entry in that series and given the other spots to some of the options I listed. Usually I disagree with a few picks, but I don't even know what this list was. It was all over the place and missing some of the most popular musical sketches on SNL. I'm just confused.
The best SNL cast member of all time will forever be Pete Davidson
I saw Olivia Rodrigo on the cover and i decided to came here and watch it.
The Sweeney Sister's Donnie And Marie Parady Buckwheat Celine Dion Pardy Maya Rudolph Sings Star Spangled Banner Seriously So Much To Choose From Lounge Singer Sings Star Wars
While the Mulaney sketches were well done per se, they were stupid as hell. I didn’t even crack a smile at them. How did all THREE of them make the list? 45 years of SNL, and 3/4 of this list is from the last five years or so.
no blues brothers ?
@@Ididnotwanttojoin They were, then they became musical guests.
I guess The Blues Brothers means nothing.
They didn't have to take joshua Bassett's name in their driver's license sketch though. That wasn't funny.
Singing my way as weekend update guest Jeanne Piro. "... WHAT???? "
Where is Dick in a Box?? Is it considered just a song as opposed to a sketch?
Where's tiny horse
It's a Digital Short.
Sorry…cowbell is always number 1
Come back Barack...
🤦🏼
THIS IS NOT A FEMENIST SONG
don't need the commentary. Please just play the clips and shut up.
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.
My first investment with Mr RICK WAYNE earned me profit of over $250,530 US dollars, and ever since then he has been delivering
He has really made a good name for himself
Expert WAYNE has been managing my trade for months and I keep making profits every week, I made $97,130 last week
SNL died long time ago. Pedowood is dead
Kinda not so funny presented and cut up like this...and the commentary doesn't help either. Maybe it's just me.
