    • Yes. If you do that, it is clear for the examiner to read and you don’t have to decide if the answer should start with a capital letter.

    • remember that you should write the phrase that you hear. The speaker says "note-taking" so that is what you should write.

    • In a real exam which hordes of candidates sit for, difficulty level gets tougher and so candidates tend to fail more. I can assure you a real exam doesn't look a walk in the park like that sample test at all.
