Véronique de Viguerie is a fearless French photographer who has worked in some of the world’s most dangerous and remote places.
She spent years documenting the Taliban’s rise to power, illegally snuck into Yemen to photograph the world’s worst humanitarian crisis and witnessed the violent war raging in the Amazon between illegal loggers and armed indigenous militias.

  • She does change something. She, the brave photographer who risks her life to show us- the rest of us living in comfort and safety, changes our perspective of the human world, the reality of many who have a completely different life. Now, we CAN'T SAY WE DIDN'T KNOW... when we vote, when we define our ideas and values...some of us, hopefully, will go into fighting to help the rest of us.This affects us all.

    • But she forgot that EU only have 39% forested land area left, 36 extinct species within 20th - 21st centuries, and more than 1,300 endangered to extinct species today. And keep doing deforestation. While she talking about Brazil that still have 68% forested land area, 1 extinct species within 20th -21st centuries, and less than 100 endangered species today. European should take care their own forest first, should return minimum 60% of their lands to become forest again, should do much actions. Rather being a disgusting hypocrites, zero actions, only talks, only banners, only slogans, only rhetorics in fake protest, like thinking that forest is just one country responsibility. Smh

    • not really, she manipulates every picture she takes. "i wanted to photograph them in a throne, but a really cheap one" that's not investigative journalism, that's just activism. she went to Kabul with the intent to paint the Taliban in a negative light. She premeditated this and she was super clever in doing it so that the Taliban would not realize what she was doing. She went in looking for reasons as to why the Talibans were bad. Everything she reported on it was biased and she can't even realize this, so she is a poor source of information. So she only found evidence and reports that supported her pre-conceived beliefs. "if you look at the picture, *even they* still look surprised that they're there" this woman is delusional, they are literally emotionlessly looking into the lens like an old 1920's photograph. she sees emotion in a shot where there deliberately was none. she is insane and unreliable witness. the clue is in her phrasing: "even they". She is surprised that they are there, so she projects her feelings and emotions onto them. further proving that she is biased and unreliable.

    • Laugh harder then cry, since i'm from a small country where there is zero ad, no need for adblock. Downside is we do need adblock when using vpn to watch region restricted content, that is when the ad start to pop up like crazy

    • Why would teens in America not have guns? When adults can’t act like adults, it would be more surprising if they didn’t have em. You’re looking at a country with a failed government. You couldn’t imagine what that is. And it can happen much faster than people think.
