Hi guys. This is a video tutorial about how to make a log cabin miniature out of popsicle and balsa sticks.
Scale 1/24
I used:
• Popsicle sticks (4.5 in - 11cm) for the floor and the door amzn.to/3npauYq
• Popsicle sticks (6 in - 15cm) for the roof and the chimney amzn.to/35gCqaM
• Popsicle sticks (8 in - 20cm) for the roof and the chimney amzn.to/35fXjmw
• Wooden dowel rods for the walls (0.31 - 0.80 cm) amzn.to/3bgxoyD
• Hardwood sheet for the floor amzn.to/3s28lVZ
• Α transparent A4 page (for the glass of the windows)
I painted it with a dark brown spray and I colored it with dark and light sienna (acrylics)

  • Clever idea mate using bulldog clips as mini g clamps, can get hold of those easy in stationary shop, like how you keeping the base construction simple too.

  • Thank you! Very nice. I just started making a house from twigs from a bush. Never have I made anything like it before. Had to start over 4 times. It's really a challenge. But I was looking for this kind of stick house to try. It looks a lot simpler. And I love how you made the door and windows open and close.     • Did you manage to make it in the end? I’m also thinking of making a mini house made of twigs, but with absolutely no experience making anything from wood. It’s also a job trying to figure out what tools I need.

  • Way in doing it is with two walks splitting interior into three so having to slow down and cut carefully each piece for bathroom in centre bedroom one side kit lounge other which takes a little working out but at third course now, yours looks good

    • My miniature is based ona specific log cabin (description). There are no any rooms except a loft which i didn't make it because it wouldn't be visible

  • Wow what a great job! What tools did you use for wood carving? I bought deremel but it’s too laud! So kinda confused what to use! Looking for something convenient and not laud!
