I like all three of the wonderland rounds but compared to 2 & 3?? This one just feels so unsatisfying. There's like at least two moments with build ups similar to the others in here but they go nowhere and it messes with me >:/
I mean, this is the build up to the true conclusion, right? 2 and 3 finally deliver on what this one promised and didn't provide. Technically, worst. In context? Soooooo good.
Agreed, the anti-climax of this song mirrors the in-story moment where the party finishes round 1 and is disappointed to discover it just loops back to the room with the wheel.
Oh, those are both fair points. I can appreciate the symbolism at least, even if I'd rather listen to the other two hehe.
it's literally round one my dude. you don't pop off an absolute banger in the beginning and then just let everyone down with a weak pt2 and pt3.
