LYRICS:
THE DEPARTURE OF THE FROST, OF THE FROZEN
LET THEM SEE THE COST, WHAT IT COSTS THEM
IN THIS PENETRATING LIFE
SKIPPING THE STATIONS OF LIFE
WE ARE THE ONES ON THE LOST PATH
DARK TRAINS ON THE RAILS OF MADNESS
FALLING THROUGH THE ICE BETWEEN
THE LIVELY STATION
NO ONE LEAVES, AND NO ONE EVER LEFT
THE BOLT OF SELF-HATE IGNITES THE FLAME
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN ON ME
YOU'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH IT
REACH IT
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FOR ME
YOU'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH ME
REACH ME
THE DEPARTURE OF THE SOUL
STUCK IN LIMBO
THE WORK HERE IS NOT DONE
I'LL FIND A WAY
LIVING IN LIES, I'LL HAVE TO STOP THIS NOW
THE TRAIN IS COMING FOR ALL
DARK TRAINS ON THE RAILS OF MADNESS
FALLING THROUGH THE ICE BETWEEN
THE LIVELY STATION
THE END OF ALL IS COMING
NO ONE LEAVES, AND NO ONE EVER LEFT
THE BOLT OF SELF-HATE IGNITES THE FLAME
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN ON ME
YOU'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH IT
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN ON ME
YOU'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH IT
REACH IT
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES FOR ME
I'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH ME
REACH ME
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN FROM THE INSIDE
AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN ON ME
I'LL SEE THROUGH ICE, BUT YOU CAN NOT REACH ME
REACH ME
DARKENED TRAILS
IMPRISONMENT
HAS SWALLOWED ME
INSIDE THIS HELL
THE AIR I BREATHE
REPULSES ME
YET I CAN'T SEE
FOR WHAT'S INSIDE OF ME

    • Blame the record label. They are NOT good at promoting this band. The album is recorded over a year ago. The last single from this same album was a year ago. The album is still a month away from releasing. The vinyl isn't out until october. They could've ridden on the popularity when they were touring with In Flames, released the album half a year ago, so everybody was on board this festival season! This record label is a mess. Orbit Culture is too big to handle for them. Check out the views for each video this record label posted. OC is above the rest, head and shoulders!

  • You know what I love about this? Once youve been through enough shit in life you start to become numb to it all. Your heart still feels the pain but its like your brain shuts out all emotion to the things you know are supposed to hurt. The only thing that makes me feel anything anymore is this kind of music. It's a wall of sound that cannot be ignored. It brings everything to the surface. Every memory, every emotion, every demon, and every scar on my soul, until that moment at 3:21 where it all comes hemorrhaging out. Sometimes you just need to let it all bleed...

    • If bands like In Flames, DT, or soilwork who have been blasting since the early 90's hardly play any headliners on big events, and as long as the headline spots are being kept for overly retired bands like Aerosmith or Deep Purple there is little to no hope Orbit culture will ever do. • You know, listening to a new song is not just about having the first taste... it's also about repeat-listening with the lyrics next to it, and repeat-listening a third time while really 'looking' at the video... only then can you really dig deep and find the strings inside you that the song touches and plays... Sometimes it can't reach down deep enough and you won't like the song (yet)... sometimes it reaches so deep it plays your soul strings as if it were slash or dimebag or even john legend... THIS is one of those songs. It cuts at first hear... but it really reaches deep once you read the lyrics and let in the synth throughout the song, creating an oasis of emotions. Fuck, this song is my summer song so far. Orbit Culture for the win.

  • MY TAKE: Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP. I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day. Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and yet heart warming. Brilliant. The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect! Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight! The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and 64th notes are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clear shows in each track. UNREAL! Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres. I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure life for many a listener. #1

I hear influences from everything from Trivium to Dark Tranquility and In Flames to Gojira and Meshuggah, yet their sound is entirely their own, using those influences and more to create their vision and help bring metal one step further into a new era.
