In this episode, Divyanshi tells about the campus protest inside the US Universities over the Israel-Hamas War.
Several pro-Palestinian protesters at Columbia University in New York City were arrested on the night of 30th April after hundreds of police officers raided a building the students had taken over.
Dramatic footage showed police climbing a ladder to enter Hamilton Hall and later removing students handcuffed with zip ties. The university had earlier told the students to leave or face expulsion.
On April 17, a small group of students set up tents at Columbia University in New York to protest against Israel's military action in Gaza and to ask the university to cut ties with companies that profit from Israel's incursion.
They also called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and an end to US military assistance for Israel.
