I was dead wrong when I said that outpost grinders can't be fast, and this video proves it. After playing with the stupid fast grinder we make a survival grinder that is more than twice as fast as an enderman farm.
NOTE: I have since this been posted been informed that zombie piglin farms, when considering babies have a higher XP absorbtion rate, which is something I overlooked. Also the ravager farm... so it is not the fastest, but it is still IMHO a really nice little farm ;-)

"It's an early game farm!" Cuts to a 100 layer 128x128 tower
lol so true
Made out of blocks in literal post game (obviously you can use any blocks)
@@KrazyRhino2410 thats true
“Great early game farm…” build out of EndStoneBricks
Lmao. I just like the color :-P
because in end we use overworld blocks to built ENDERMAN XP FARM its just revenge 😂
Everyone know that killing the dragon in the first 30 minutes of playing a new survival world and using endstone as a main construction material for farm is just the start of the game !
You're that guy that need to be told in tutorial "I use block x but you can use whatever you wants"?
To make it more early game use diamond blocks instead.
I havent seen any other of your videos but I want to say that I respect your willingness to accept that you are human and can make mistakes and that youre smart enough to want to correct them. Great video!
Thanks! Appreciate it! Making mistakes sucks, but it is the best opportunity to learn ;-)
@@NicoisLOST could you send a tutorial to this xp farm as i am in a minecraft battle with freinds and i am in dire need of an xp raid farm. love your video btw
@@NicoisLOST can you make a tutorial for this build soon it looks insane but im nowhere near technichal enough to work out where to even start
@@onlyforviewing-ti5sxPosted Public tomorrow, patreon like like an hour ;-)
there's always something to learn about TMC, I didn't know that raid participants don't count towards the mobcap. this is definitely going to be a new meta, especially for worlds without an xp cooldown. great farm!
Collaboration is one of if not the biggest part of TMC and this is yet another example of that being true. Glad I could contribute even if just a little and I hope it happens some more 😉
Damn this is super cool! Nice to see new concepts that hasn't been done before!
I couldn't agree MORE that collaboration is the KEY to redstone. Its funny how it works too how you can translate that collaborative effort between builds, for example: One of my buddies was helping me with an ice farm design, and in the process came up with a much better detection/ block removal method than I could've hoped to come up with on my own, but it ended up not working very well for the ice farm due to the randomness of ice. However, the VERY SAME redstone was able to be copied over for better basalt AND stone generators that generate piston push limit every cycle, then piston snaked to a blast chamber that used the VERY SAME redstone AGAIN. That whole farm wouldn't have been possible if I NEVER asked for help in a group of my friends. Moral of the story: 2 people together can do more than 2 people separately :)
it's funny because in computational redstone a lot of people just work independently or in small collabs on what interests them. at least that's how it was in 2014
oh my god can you stop rambling about this nonsense (im kidding)
Collllaaaabooooratttiiiooonnnn
So awesome, you seem like a great person and an amazing friend. This farm is amazing!! Especially practical because (correct me if I'm wrong), but generally outposts will spawn near sea level because they generally occur in plains, so most of the time they would be around y 70 (I don't know the new y bounds since the caves and cliffs)
That's really cool, I'm going to use this to make insane arrow turrets in my casino
Cool! I will share this video with my friend and it will go to the piggy bank of those farms that we want to build, but we will never do it)
This is very cool, thanks for the video 🔥
Awesome work! Looks fairly inexpensive too!
Yeah that was a big appeal for me about this farm, cheap and fast.
I just accidentally deleted a comment here! Opps! To that comment, yes the plan is to make a tutorial.
No problem! Sorry about deleting your comment that was a mistake ;-).
SIMPLE???!
@@FezTun it's just a lot of blocks
such a masterpiece farm, pog dude!
So.... now to make an automated crossbow breaking settup to have thousands of passive pillagers walking around my world.
Since the xp orb pick up is limited you can only get the best xp by max xp particles, so you only can achieve the farm with a furnace and a glitch that stored information (by a bug) to always get the particle. I think some one did it.
Raysworks is watching this and thinking about the gitched crossbow for sure haha. gr8 vid
Nice one ! And really easy with that !
Heyy awesome content! I was wondering if a build video for the smaller iron farm would still come? Or maybe just a world download or something? Id love to build the one layer one. Keep up the great work!
The single layer wdl is on discord :-]
@@NicoisLOST oh, sorry. thank you!
Can you make a full tutorial of the farm please?
i was about to ask the same lol
He has a world download that you can use as a base
@@DanTDMs-homunculus Where can i find it
@@fedegaru1550 just watch the video
cool concept
How long would this take to build?? And does it cause lag?
a few years ago this happened to me by accident, just had an outpost with like 100 pillagers xD
When filming the single player episode that sparked this I ended up with so many it gets to be pretty funny.
Dude said nice early game xp farm when there are several chunks just obliterated I can't even begin to think what late stage is
Do you need a big hole around the farm like in the video?
On an SMP after, the bait villagers, down between the layers had been shot by pillagers, the rates of the farm dropped severely after the villagers had been replaced by new villagers. Any ideas why or how to fix that? Platforms used to be crawling with pillagers
Is there going to come a tutorial for the 6 player one I love it.
I know yku have a video that goes into the details of spawn space around the outposts but do yku have a video on the platform designs. I would like to see how many blocks you guys used for each platform and how the villager set up was done to effectively make the pillagers pathfind to the elevators
ilmangos expert zombified piglin farm 😉
If theres a limit to how many xp orbs you can absorb per second theoretically like in cubic meters vid about xp will be there a farm that can produce god orbs other than furnaces? If you can manipulate the game like the ender dragon farm or like scicraft would it be possible to create a god orb farm or its not possible yet and we just have to wait on future updates and if we can manipulate the drops of mobs for it to be the best possible drops is it possible for it to apply to xp orbs aswell? But it wont matter for me cause im on bedrock edition and i guess basically duplicating hundreds of zombie pigmen per second is the way to go. But im just curious how far can we push minecraft to its limits?
Can you use it for crazy emeralds too?
Wow, this is crazy!!!!
When do you make a tutorial?
Can't wait for the tutorial for this, please please, we really need this for our server
Could this be combined with a raid farm? Could the near constant raids count as the ongoing raid necessary?
is it possible to get vindicators or evokers to spawn somehow so that the farm can be also used to farm emeralds even if just a tiny amount?
Would this farm work on bedrock? where is a tutorial for this farm?
Is the perimeter around the grinder necessary? Cause making on of those is not early game.
Tutorial on how to build it pls
Ok hear me its gon take a while to build but ima try love yo videos how do you build this
Is that massive hole around the farm in the ground necessary? If so, does it have a huge ifluence on the performance of the farm?
Not really, mobs can only spawn in a 128 block radius sphere around the player. Even so, given the fact that this farm bypasses the mobcap, spawn proofing shouldn't be much of a concern. It's true that mob spawning is denser the lower the farm is but in this case, the elevation depends on the pillager outpost.
No it's not, I just want using world edit and it was easier.
This is a great farm. I think its interesting that they don’t affect the mob cap, but I still think the guardian farm by ianxofour is better since it gives the same xp but is just easier to build.
Can this be utilized in bedrock edition?
Can we get a tutorial?
it says in desc, that it is java only is the world download only for java or is it the actual farm?
Great, but have you a schematic of the farm
What about Guardian Farms, like the one from IanXofour, is that one not also faster than this one?
Do I have to build near a pillager outpost or something else? I’ve started building the farm above an ocean
Bruh I can't find a good, simple xp farm tutorial utilizing a pillager outpost anywhere
you're awesome man.
I wonder if this *practical* version is on par with ianxofour's guardian xp farm
damm nice farm gj!
Wonderful design. How does this look for server performance?
could you do a tutorial on your channel? if this is the case could you tell me where it is located plz and finally if you know another farm or even this one but where there will be a tutorial to redo the farm in my world. Thank you for your answer. Sincerely.
Thoughts on cubic metres god particle farm?
You can use it to get the rare multishot pricing crosbow
This has a practical application, in a slimefun server or auralia server.
This is so cool. If you use the Clump mod, you can absolutely make the full blown version 😎
is this also good with item drops?? What are the rates?
Etho had this farm 3 years ago in his let's play ep 528
when I see the word "simple" in Nico's video I already know this shit will need a hella lot materials
already have a xp farm but i will build this just becuase it looks funny when that many mobs travel in the tubes
does this work on 1.20.1 ?
if we use carpet mod with /xp cooldown true we absorb all the xp
Nice Design do IT produce Emerald?
does this work on servers?
Do you know what mod is being used to summon the big sphere of spawning spaces and show the mob cap?
Minihud! Edit: oh... and carpet mod /log mobcaps
Minihud for the Sphere and carpet for the mobcap both are fabric
@@NicoisLOST thanks man
"It's very simple." *Me looking at the Empire State Building sized contraption:* Are you sure about that?
Would this work as an emerald farm if someone doesn't feel like dealing with a raid farm...?
No pillagers only drop crossbows and banners.
@@NicoisLOST Dang, thought I found a way to be lazy 🤣
will it get totems?
Is there a tutorial on how to build the smaller version?
where can i download this
I think that for servers with reduced spawn rates + immediate xp absorption the first design would be better.
Tutorial?
Is there a built tutorial somewhere for this farm?
Is this the Nico that designed the stacked raid farm featured by SilentWhisperer?
Can I make it also somehow drop emeralds and totems?
"early game farm" builds a huge perimeter around it
This is pretty nice as an early game xp. farm. I think it's hard to beat a guardian farm since. Their xo orbs are more valuable this they have a higher xp per hour cap. But this would be much easier to build then a guardian farm so. I like it. And it's a raid farm at the same time
I'm gonna build the full version
cubicmetre's god particle video achives actual max xp
is it necessary to build at the top of the dig or i can simply build it on the top of 90 level over pillager outpost
Check out my tutorial, you can build it over an outpost for sure+
Does it this work on bedrock edition?
Clumps: Allow me to introduce myself
is there like a link to a tutrial of this farm
Do you need a perimeter to reach high xp rates?
dude this also seems like a great Emerald farm
They just spawn the regular pillagers tho and I don’t think they drop emeralds
those bait villagers: 😨
I'm sorry, but I have a question. Does this farm exploit any game bugs? Or just mechanics?
Does this farm works on serwers when there is more people playing ?
how to make this?
Tutorial pls
If you were to build the big one with xp combining mod would it make it so that you can absorb it all?
Yep! Uber-XP
Does it fork in 1.20?
does the farm need to be above the void or can you just spawn proof the area
He said in the video that you dont need to spawn proof it since only villagers spawn in an outpost.
@@isthatbraised ik but u want the pillagers to spawn on the platform, not the surrounding area. What im asking is: Does the entire platform cover the area in which pillagers can spawn or should i spawn proof the surrounding area so the pillagers dont spawn elsewhere?
How big is the xp orbs of the pillagers?
is there a tuturail of where to place the schematic
How many emeralds? And do you get totems?
Sadly you cant get any drops from this farm (except for crossbows) because pillagers only drop emeralds when they are spawned in a raid (totems only get dropped by vindicators that doesnt even spawn in this farm)
Will I have to eradicate the terrain or just spawn proof the area the spawn sphere barely touches?
Just spawn proof with torches or something.
@@NicoisLOST nice.
since the pillager spawning non stop, how can we even get the villager in place?
tut when :)
