Well done on passing and thanks for watching 😊
Ikr😭 I cant stop watching these and idk why

Congrats, but I'm not sure if their parents are happy!

you’re so funny 😂 that’s exactly how I think as a learner driver: oncoming car- ‘aaargghh’ Parked vehicles-‘arrhhhh’ Junctions-‘aaarrghhh’ Truck- ‘-argghh’ Having to give way when it’s my right of way -‘grrrr’ But in honesty, after watching your video I feel much more confident at driving. Thanks so much Richard 😄🙏🏻
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Samee i'm a panicking mess
Exactly! I need a series of videos like this!
Love this video it give me confidence
Eagerly waiting for "Common Learner Driver Mistakes - part 2"

I recently thought that on road #day6 😅
😂😂😂 ya it actually made me laugh
Just passed this morning, couldn't have done it without Richard!
Congratulations on passing, I'm happy to hear that I've helped 😊
I failed my test first time about 2 years ago. I was so upset and didn't want to do it again after. I came across your videos and I've watched most of them, some more than once. It helped me feel more confident to try again. I put my test on hold end of May and got a date in July.I literally watched your videos everyday. I passed second time today 😊. You have no idea how much you helped me. Thank you so much.
Congratulations! I'm so pleased to hear that!
Man that clip of the stalling at junctions pierced my soul
fr
Just wanted to say a huge thank-you for your time and effort in your videos, with my instructors help and your help, I managed to pass today with 2 minors! I'm already recommending your video's to people!
Thank you so much for watching and congratulations on passing!
Having had my licence revoked, failing my first test after that I've now passed again with 1 minor. Your channel has made me a better driver than I ever had been and I can't thank you enough👍🙌 I'll recommend you to everyone !
I see this time and again. Nice to see you raising some awareness to it. 🙌
I really appreciate the effort you put into this channel. It has helped me learn a lot when I was intimidated by a stickshift and now it's all muscle memory : )
You are such a calm soul, I love your videos
I've watched so many driving test related videos and yours is the best of all of them! it is really to the point and easy to understand- i have made a lot of progress since watching your videos! thank you!
Great perception in the shoes of a learner and approach the presentation as such. Well Done!
Thank you very much for sharing your work with us, cheers!!
been watching your driving videos since i started learning manual!! hello from the other side of the world, australia haha thanks for your videos, your explanations have been very clear and easy to understand. been improving with your help !
I’ve just started learning to drive and Richard’s tips have helped me so much. Thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼
Passed my test last year but still love watching your videos as they're simple, to the point and positive! Also - love the Seat, cute little thing that! :D
I am actually learning now. So perfect timing for this video. You are the best.
One of your best videos yet dude. Excellent job, especially with the thoughts. Another problem I find a few of my pupils do is accidentally go in the wrong gear (changing too quickly, wrong technique). I'd definitely love another video!
Watching your videos gives me oozing confidence, not arrogance to drive but confidence. I am learning.
Thank you for that last mistake. It makes so much sense to me because I always feel like I should be doing things faster!
Thanks for being such a great instructor. I am from Germany but your tips really helped me out a lot. Greetings ! 👍🏼
I've got my driving lesson and felt nervous. This video cheered me up. Thanks 😊
Great video as always, keep it up man
Your advice about centralising car with left feet is incredibly helpful.
Just feel ‘bingo’ when u mention the mistakes, SUPER helpful video. Many thanks indeed
The narrow road scenario 😭😂😂 Good tips! I'll remember these for my test next month.
You have the best driving videos on youtube man thanks for all the help
I was nodding my head and smiling all the way through this Richard.
Thanks a million for all your videos and the incredibly useful information that you share with us! You are a lifesaver! :)
You're awesome, your videos are helping here in the Caribbean as we drive on the same side
Loving all your videos,I’m on my 8th driving lesson and your videos are really helping😀👍can’t wait for part 2.xxx
Found this really useful. I'm definitely guilty of the "Aggggghhhhs" everytime something large comes the other way 😂
Interesting to hear that being a passenger imprints those driving habits of experienced drivers. Confirmed my thoughts. I noticed that right after my first few driving classes on the public road. It takes some time to get rid of it and then learn gradually in a slower tempo. Very helpful driving videos. Thank you!
Passed my driving test today with 0 official driving lessons! Thank you do much these videos really helped to fill in the knowledge I was missing from not having an instructor.
Congratulations! What a massive result to pass without lessons! You must have really studied and practiced.
@@ConquerDriving yes I watched a lot of your videos and drove everyday and it paid off!! Thanks again :)
@@elliee5864 How long did it take you?
Superb! Thank you as always.
Really helpful video as usual, looking forward to part two 🙂
That rushing tip is really helpful! Its like what i was taught when i played guitar- slow is smooth and smooth is fast
As an experienced learner: I rushed taking my time. Often, I was making a certain manouevre my instructor and I wanted to exercise, and we ended up wasting both our time because I was too afraid of how good I already was. If your instructor wants you to do something, they trust you can, and trust me, they have had enough experience to know you can. For example: I could've taken a roundabout after waiting for some cyclists, I could've made a clean turn at a dead-end road before someone else was about to leave. You really have to trust yourself, especially after the first lesson (or to be fair, at any time, everyone learns at their own pace). You learn these motor-skills (no pun intended) within your first 6-8 lessons, and don't worry if it takes more. You just need to get the hang and swing of it My most important tips: If you feel inconfident, to the point that you don't even want to take driving lessons: go for it. You'll surprise yourselves. It's a lot at the start, you have to take care of so much, mind for so many things, and get the hang of the motor skills of steering, while handling the pedals and the clutch (pun is always intended). Just chill out. You got your instructor beside you, and there are some people who are incredibly clusmy or absent-minded who easily managed their lessons and exam. Sure people die in car accidents, but don't let that frighten you. I felt bad about my first two driving lessons, but I did my slope test (not sure how you guys call it: hanging at an incline/decline and holding the brake until the clutch tells you it's ready to set off) and parking perfectly. Sure you have to pay attention to a lot, but once the driving itself becomes second nature to you, the motor-skills required to handle (again, no pun intended) steering, using the pedals, applying the clutch, it's super easy. You've always got someone beside you paying attention, until it's clear as day that you don't need it. And even then, in dangerous situations, most people handle (I swear it's not a pun) themselves quite neatly, even in traffic, when tensions can reach a boiling point of no return.
I love videos like these. These are all the mistakes I make while learning. Please post some more. Thank you for the useful videos and also they are very funny, made me laugh. :)
Carry on Richard many people need you
These videos have been a huge help and always bring great clarity to some of the problems I've faced. Passed last week first time and I think you've been a great help, Richard! Thank you.
Congratulations on passing!
It helps a lot...Thank you for the sharing again Sir
You are so good at this, amazing vids
I just got a new car and have been driving for a few weeks... And I've scraped my car a couple of times because of my own mistakes. That tip about rushing has really opened up my eyes even though I knew it was a problem I had, yet hearing you say it made it click in very well. I'm a car enthusiast and I really want to perfect my driving skills. Your videos are slowly giving me back the confidence to drive again.
Part of being a good captain is being a calm captain. Do things in your own time and give yourself a chance to think.
That's super helpful, thank you!
Thanks... I've learned so much from your great videos.
This is the type of stuff I wished I learned in school. Thanks!
I passed today! 🎉 Your videos made all the difference, thank you so much 👍🏻
Hi, I already passed my test but still watching your video as highly educational and helpful. Thank you!!
Have a lesson in 30mins and you've helped more than you'd think! Thank you!!!!!!!!

Best actor of the year! 😁 Good understanding of learner drivers!!!👍
Been a subscriber from 2020 and I watch your videos with such enjoyment everytime you post, even tho I'm not from UK (hello from Romania 🇷🇴✌️) I am a begginer and your advices and the presentations are so nicely described and well presented, keep doing what you are doing ! 😀 PS: Definitely make a part 2 out of this.
Thank you for watching for so long 😊
My first car is a 2017 Leon 3 door FR, absolutely in love with it!
They're very good cars. I've had mine for 7.5 year's now.
All my problems summed up in one video lol You are so good !!!
I have my test tomorrow I enjoyed watching your videos. I hope that I can put my lessons and advice from you into good practice and pass my test.Thank you Richard for all the help and advice thus far.
You're very welcome, good luck with your test tomorrow!
Thank you so much these videos help a ton 👍
Yes please, we need 2nd, 3rd, 4th... videos, it does help, I had my licence while ago and just started to drive after couple of refresher lessons, but there is so many things missing. And fear is real, my legs are shaking.
Very useful and informative video. Thanks for the lessons.
Thank you so much for your work. I'm currently a learner driver in Sweden, and while some of the details and rules differ, the principles about safety and car handling carry over perfectly. You're a great teacher, and you've helped me a lot!
Thank you for watching 😊
I would definitely like another part !
Great help!! Just had another lesson and took my time and stopped rushing off the clutch and it went so much better
I'm happy to hear that!
Wow, Richard you are really a god. These are the exact panic moments I feel right now, specially that fast passing SUV and small gap l. I will really like a sequal.
Thank so much, its very helpful 👍
I taught myself hw to drive off ur videos keep posting 👌❤️ u actually helping ppl unlike those learn how to drive in 3 mins videos
You're an Angel. Thanks for the video.
Please make it Richard, if you haven't already. Thanks a lots for all your helpful tips, my exam coming up in just 4 weeks, and I'm super nervous.
Just failed my test for the first time - BECAUSE OF A RIGHT TURN the nerves got to me and I ended up turning too late - almost hitting the curb/island. I was pissed because I didn’t even get a chance to do the test - but rest assured me being pissed has just motivated me to pass 😡 it was the last day of my theory expiring and now I have to retake !
Same here fail the test first time bcz of right turn I did to early & tach the right lane then go back left bcz of Bus behind me so it's take serious driving fault within 10 minutes 🙁🙁😩😩.
Sounds like you have a good attitude. Stay positive and look forward to your next attempt.
Feel really bad to be honest. Almost wanted to cry the minute I failed and the journey back I just felt suicidal
@@aceboogie8941 just failed today with a right turn too actually no worse feeling
@@kellzer4758 it’s alright did your theory expire or still have time?
Thank you for all your videos!! I passed last week and your videos certainly helped. Thank you 🙌🏾
Congratulations on passing!
Super helpful I’m loving your channel. Putting in for my theory soon, so hopefully all going well I won’t have to wait long for my test.
Thank you for watching, I hope it goes well.
Really helpful thank you 😊
Great video. Thank you 🙏🏼
I agree with the rushing part. I started making progress when I started taking my time with everything. Even in a junction I take my time and I don't miss a pedestrian or something. Rushing is a huge issue...
Thank you for your videos mate, I passed my driving test yesterday first try with your help!!!
Congratulations! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for all the videos I passed first time last week and couldn’t possibly have done it without you! 😀
Congratulations on passing, I'm happy to hear I've helped 😊
You are the best instructor...
Great video, as an instructor myself I absolutely agree with all your points and raise them with my own learners! I'm not considering any videos of my own as there's a lot of great content out there (and I'll recommend yours to my lot too) but it's great to see short content with a bit of humour added in. Nice car too, love the SEATs 👌
So helpful please make more videos like this.... Thank you
Such a great and informative video!! Thank you very much for this!! :))
I love this guy he’s just sooo humble He’s the only KZheadr that’s got time to read and reply to ALL of his comments ❤️
Aww thank you, I'm not sure how long I can keep it up for, it does take a while these days.
I thought to leave a comment. Its been a while i am watching your videos, keep doing this, its a best support a learner driver can get.
Thank you, I have a second video on the same subject.
Yes please do it, very beneficial.
Very helpful. Waiting for the next video. Thanks
4:42 absolutely read my mind. Took me 4 hours to get over this habit!
I’m teaching my kids, my daughter is taking her test shortly and my son has just started, getting a driving instructor is hard here they are chock a block, ours can only manage one lesson a week, so I fill in the gaps (he says he’d hire me so thats good lol) we work together and your videos are great tutorials for teachers as well as pupils!
Love all your videos! 😂😂😂
Very well said 👍
Great content mate, very clear and articulate as always. Btw, I got my license today, your videos helped a lot, thank you! 😁
Thank you and congratulations!
Crazy how accurate every point is 😂
Totally relatable, love from India🖤
I learned the lesson quite well, thank god nothing happened to me. Now I always check mirrors in roundabouts, because in my motorbike (I'm learning how to drive a car at the same time) I was doing 1st to 3rd exit and from 2nd to 3rd exit I was indicating left, the car from the 2nd exit cuts me off on the left and blames me for swing left. Of course, I need to leave the roundabout. From that day, I'm constantly check every single mirror in roundabouts hahah, even in car.
I definitely made the first mistake when driving and will definitely slow down next time.
the quality of the videos 👌
I have my test today... So nervous but these videos are really helping me
I hope it goes well. Good luck!
@@ConquerDriving I passed thank you
Just passed today with 3 minors!! ♥️ your videos helped so much!
