  • Klay Thompson is a class act. He gets the NBA record in the 3rd, and then leaves. He doesn't simply grind it in. Besides that he doesn't make waves for his teammates by shooting off his mouth. On the court he knows how to defend, knows how to get rebounds, and knows how to move without the ball. Both he and Curry move without the ball creating many open looks. But you don't get to beat the NBA scoring record by taking the summer off. He has obviously put in the time to get his shooting eye. Playing "second fiddle" to Curry cannot be easy. Just as Kevin McHale was second fiddle to Larry Bird, but was still an incredible talent in his own right, so Klay is to Curry. It is a true pleasure watching this man play.

  • These warriors were so different they literally got to chose if they wanted to win every night and whenever they wanted, the game would just be over by the third quarter and they would start coaching themselves or just leave. Most overpowering team ever and it will never be replicated.

    • No, it’s just that Steve Kerr is a good coach. He leaves them in and allows them to break the records, but takes them out so they always have something to strive for. And it keeps them level headed as well. Kerr has always done this since he became head coach. There’s been so many games when Steph could’ve had 70-80 pts but he got pulled for the entire 4th and half of 3rd. Klay dropped 60 then got pulled with minutes left in the 3rd lol he was on pace to tie Wilt chamberlain. He had 50 in 24 minutes smh.

    • Looks like you came here for your Klay fix too. Same true for his 60pt performance. If the team was not so good and they were not blowing away the competition nightly, I am convinced Klay would have gone for 100 by now. I think Wilt stayed in the game long past when the game was decided and needed 2OTs. Here is the math if he had kept up his scoring pace (who knows, maybe he increases it): 60/29 = 2.07 pts per min 2.07 X 19 = 39.33 pts 60 + 39.93 = 99.93 pts (call it 100)
