i'm glad i cherished the moments when i was a kid because kids nowadays are in such a rush to grow up, and honestly, growing up isn't all its claimed to be. grateful i was raised the way i was!
ok honestly as a kid growing up in this society I have to say that it isn't really our fault its how the media is and how much pressure we have to get good grades and have a good base for a career at an extremely young age. even my grandma gets it and tells me to enjoy my childhood instead of being so focused on building a career in sports

My parents try their best and I don’t think they meant to ruin my childhood. And the fact that I’m a middle child just makes it hurt even more. I’m always forgotten, and when I try to get noticed nothing happens. I tried to follow the rules but that didn’t work. A couple days ago I was at Disneyland and we were at a Starbucks. I was just getting a tea btw. And they had a little thing you could draw on. I ended up drawing “ Depression :) “ and my dad said “ Why are you so goth? “ and it just kinda hurt. Like depression isn’t ‘ goth ‘ it’s a real thing that could cause someone to hurt themselves, or worse. Sorry for ranting. I kinda strayed from the original statement ( btw dating at 6 is just weird lol- also I used to play red light green light and still do! At skating )

I loved the message of this song sm. Even though I’m 16 years old which isn’t that old. I grew up without a phone I didn’t even have a tablet I didn’t grow up with technology except for one of those old 📺. Me and others kids used to play with our toys or just play games that we invented or play tag etc and we had so much fun. I was born in the U.S but I was raised in Mexico till I was almost 13 that’s when I came and everything changed, it surprised me so much when I saw little kids knowing how to use a phone when I barely knew about social media and different type of games. I saw how girls my age wore makeup and different type of clothes not with the type of clothes I was raised with. That’s when I started being more self conscious and insecure about the way I looked, about the way I act, about the way I dress, about being “aesthetic” and now I am who I am. Without noticing I started adapting like everyone was I started wearing a bit of makeup trying to fit in. Being caught with the trends. And stuff now I’m just trying to be happy without worrying what other people think about me. Thanks for listening to me, I wasn’t planning on saying all this but that’s just what I feel and my experience.
