Spectator races = the original Nascar racing. Much more fun to watch the " daily driver " compete than just $$$$. Thanks for the video and look forward to seeing more.
Usually starting in March we do them once a month at this track
IMO you need to go at least 2 laps. I realize time is probably the problem. 🤷♂ Run what you brung. I like the Nürburgring races when Daddy crashes the daily driver. DOH.
That Crown Vic was a beauty! Look at how fast it was! The restyling of it is a true street car, show car, hot rod, and boulevard cruiser.
What mods does it have??

@@circlelt1 Dayum, that's crazy then, all I have is longtubes n Marty tune n it runs 15.3s @ 87mph in the 1/4..lol Oh, n 3.73s.. Heads n cams soon to be installed n bought to buy a 2,800 stall converter for it.. Should make it way more fun..
@@P71ScrewHead yeah I can't confirm exactly what specs the cams are or what exactly this Crown Vic has, but that's what I heard him say. I was in the S10

Yeah its a blast, some of the faster cars can top 100mph on the back straight

@@JT-SE-OHIO yep, my 355ci sbc reigned Supreme that night. It Also has a 150-shot of nitrous in reserve which I didn't use that night. I actually own both Ford and Chevy cars, but I've always had more success with Chevy products on the racetrack Next season I'm racing my '79 firebird out there which is even faster 😈

Yep, it has federal auto-x tires so that helps it Scoot nicely.
I like it when they aren’t afraid to wreck their (obvious) daily driver to win a race! Way better than anything on NASCAR
Imo it isn't that it's "way better" it's simply a different racing format and something fairly new. In F1, Rally, or NASCAR etc, they have to race unafraid also with a lot on the line. Consistently race poorly and you'll lose your ride, livelihood, or your life [at the speeds they're going]; maybe someone else's. It's all good.

The s-10 had a bunch of weight in the very back of the bed giving him an advantage.
There was no weight in the back, other than a 10 gallon fuel cell.

The more powerful front drive cars tend to struggle during the match races because they can't get off the line very good, but I bet it will run pretty well in the final five lap race.

No it isnt, it's just 2wd with some federal auto-x tires.

Mustang has nitrous and bolt ons, crown vic I'm not sure but it seems like gears/fbo/tune
The Crown Vic is mine cams and exhaust intake and a good tune stock 327 gears and a grizzly locker

Haha yeah that mustang is normally more stable, but he sprayed his nitrous a little too early in the corner trying to get around me. It was my first night using my new Auto X tires on the truck in this video so it was gripping pretty good

That wasn't fire, that was just the lights hitting the chrome exhaust tips off n on. Crown vic has cams/bolt-ons/3.27s, no turbo.

Over-driving loses races for these amateurs every time.
That's why I protect the bottom like that going into turn 3, low and slow and force them to go to the outside line. It's OK that they catch up to me, as long as I'm a fender or so ahead out of turn 4, none of them will pull me down the straights.
