By far Andre Galvao is one of the few that gives attention to a many details during an escape. One of the best teacher, very practical.
3:55 basic escape 6:35 technique 7:02 heel hook, toe hold, xguard, calf slicer 7:55 repeat 8:40 knee bar counter to long step 9:23 repeat w inside heel hook in saddle/411 10:20 top locked feet 10:35 top grapevined feet, repeat 12:45 with arm underhooked
Thank you 👍
People like u always land in heaven no matter what
@@qasim1590 haha
Andre is a great world champion but Jesus it takes him forever to get to the damn move 😂
Danke
I love how he's coaches basic stuff like its for white belts and then BOOM...."then you have heel hook"
That's for white belts who do no gi...
how do u escape high full mount, i cant push them down ?
@@rockade2408 try taking your arms and dig into inside of thigh and it’s elbows and shimmy outbuilding a frame with your forearms watch for arm bars and stay tight
@@rockade2408 make him post out forward and invert under putting your feet in his armpits XD

Really helpful for white belts when getting smashed by bigger opponents. Thank you! This is very helpful!
5:24 I feel like this escape works the best
:)
The best techinique and explanation ever!
Thanks 😊
Galvatore Galvatorino... .... amazing professor. Thank you.
This is becoming one of my favorite technical channels.
Wow one of the best Mount escapes I’ve seen. Good stuff.
These are by far the best mount escape details I have ever seen. Good shit
Amazing Technique! Thank you Master
Great techniques, thank you for sharing.
I’m trying this tonight, getting mounted deliberately to work on this escape 😬👌🏾 Obrigado Andre Galvão OSS 🥋🙏🏾
You got this!
Thx for sharing 💯👍🏾
I've learned so much from this channel.
You explain things very well with the right amount of details. I need to work on the x guard tho.
Brilliant stuff !
Frigging sick of big dudes laying on me putting all their weight on me in full mount. Needed this vid
Muchas gracias por el contenido, obrigado, Oss!
Brilliant teacher
This is so good
This just leveled up my game
It blows me away how after 5 years and been in certain positions countless times I can still shit that I've never seen before
Good .thank you
Great video 😎
wow! i've been looking for this escape forever

Awesome! Oss! 🔥
Wow this helped a lot as a blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu to get out of mount.
Great video
thank you for this, your very good at teaching
I love this mount escape. I do it a lot. It’s probably I number two mount escape technique. My other mount escape is “Crazy Legs”. You know the one for insanely flexible people.
Good video thx - I keep getting trapped in mount by bigger opponents
Osssss - obrigado
The best way to escape mount “ can you get off please”
Gordon Ryan said on his IG that this would never work against him… I so look forward to them settling this in the cage or on the mat
cage please.
Gordon Ryan is a world class player so I wouldn't expect this to work on him. If you are a white or blue belt going to Grappling X I tend to believe you have a shot at this working quite well.
@@danielkeene3852 I wouldn't count it out. You would be surprised at what works at a high level. And is Gordon watching film or what? He scared?
This is a great video
Thank you!
Amazing amazing stuff
Crazy how Gordon used the mount that he said most people don’t use. A high mount!
Awesome technique! So for the person on top to shut this down, what option does he have? I suppose he has to stay low without giving up the half guard. Try to keep his kneed tightly pressing in. attack Uke's neck so his mind is on surviving not on escaping.
The best escape I have used so far
Who can give a dislike to such a awesome technique.. I'm guessing it maybe gordon ryan 😂
This would literally never work on anyone lmao
@@gordonryan3494 hi gordon
@@gordonryan3494 hey gordon

As a beginner a like it! Gonna be trying for sure, my only worry is when im framing wont my neck be open to a cross collar choke? Any thoughts? Thanks🙂
cool
Great technique. In live spar, I ask my partner to "can you get off me please" but they are not as good as Jonathan and only sometimes do. Better sometimes then never and they never expect the leg attack from surprise guard .
Why would you do that? You could be working on your escapes
what about with the gi? mount escape same?
Good vid
Does this work in gi? Seems like a fantastical escape as my instructor has never taught this. I’ll try it since I have a horrible guard game and get mounted constantly. Lol
Thank you. The basic mount escape doesn't work on me anymore. I'll report back on my progress. Thanks again.
Brazil
Oss plz make a video on how escape side control and how to do gard pass. Oss

ANdre speaks english very good! I wonder when he started learning? In school or in JJ ?
Wowowow nice escape lol
If I put both hands to the hip my partners are going to choke me out. Do I not frame his neck and shoulder with one hand ??? Thanks !
So I love the mount escape but the submissions given wouldn’t be viable for white belt tournaments. Any other recommendations for when we get passed the mount?
Amazing video btw! Really helping me out 🙏
💪🏻💪🏻🇵🇱
Try and use this against Gordon, when he mounts you!
If you get to the level of skill that you can actually take the mat with Gordon I'm sure you will have several other techniques to choose from that will be more effective against one of the best grapplers on the planet.
Ossssssss 🇮🇳
On the hip up you're missing the anchor and couping of the foot.
So the push/pull timing is where I'm stuck at.
Keşke sizinle çalışma imkanım olsaydı
Who are the 9 people that gave this thumbs down, and why?
Move 6:47
Where this at
Hey bro, you mean like where’s the gym ? It’s in San Diego, Ca! Atos Jiu Jitsu. 🤙🏼
Is it the best friend Ryan Gordon?
While you are taking time escaping how many times has the mounted person punched you to the face?
0 because it’s bjj, not mma
Exactly, I'd like to know this since I'm learning bjj for self defense. I can't move at all when a large person sits high on my chest
That's the thing though. While they are trying to punch you, they got no stability because their whole body and mind is engaged in trying to punch you. So you have more options to escape.
I can’t get it to work, people keep hips low and don’t let me push them up like that
Apparently, Andre has been watch those Gordan Ryan instructionals...
Galvao is black belt since 2005. Maybe you watch it here last and thats why you think that way. The defense aspect of bjj is up there for a looooong time. 👍🏼 Keep it up on researching and learning. Take care!
오 갈벙찡
He should have used this escape against Roger!
I did 👍🏽 haha! But Roger is a super small dude 🤣
@@Galvaocast yes he is also the goat ! much respect to him. No one could escape his mount at the Worlds!
Bet
Okay so so one here can tell me when the last time Andre galvao got mounted LOL
Just a few days ago by Gordon Ryan
Do the following simultaneously: buck your hips, overhook his right arm with your left. Push his left shoulder with your right hand all while rotating your hips to your left. This will destroy his right elbow joint
he ate two smacks from Ryan. two well deserved smacks hahaaaa
will this work if an trained 66kg guy does this against a 130kg untrained person?
Yes!
Andre mounted Ryron Gracie in a tournament a couple years ago. Ryron upa escaped...like Andre was a white belt.
Can’t tell whether 8:05-8:06 is a Fart or Mat Squeak. 🤔
If your opponent isn't completely stupid these will never work.. Although If you are fighting a 10kg opponent with no stability these is great ! Seriously.. show the people this action when your opponent is resisting, will be funny..
Use better TIMING
@@dinopalavra876 where is your mount defense video
This is not simple
Way too much talking man. Just do the move a few times and explain here and there. This is like %90 talking %10 demonstration.
Only problem with this is that the guy on top will probably be choking you out while trying to escape.
