'Top Speed Germany' is a German KZhead channel for people who love cars.
My Name is Max and I film while driving cars. No matter if they are old, fast, loud or electric. They need to be special! With several onboard cams, I record everything important to show you High-Speed-Runs, Acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ) and test drives on German Autobahn or Road. Please note, Germany is the country of "no speed limit" highways. So in some places, it's allowed to drive very fast. But please don't try this if you are not an experienced driver !! If you enjoy give a like and subscribe for more videos ;-) .

I have a 1987 nissan bluebird turbo with independent suspension at the four wheels, stability bar front and rear, brake discs at the 4 wheels. No one touch me at high speed!!

    • @@Big1_ What I meant is that back in the day when technology wasn't that pressent in the automotive industry (less robots, less artificial inteligence contrary to "modern cars" build process), they were still able to make such perfect cars, with great attention to detail. Now let's get in a modern Honda and go for a drive, 100% plastics will start making noises and etc. Not to mention that most "normal" cars are switching back from having a rear independent suspension, even Ford which had the best chassis, best handling and a very complicated rear independent suspension for it's class - for a semi-independent rear suspension.. I mean, back in the day, you were buying A CAR, not a roboCAR, when the handling was the buying factor - now the buying factor is who offers more tech for the money..

      @unknown-hl4bj@unknown-hl4bj3 жыл бұрын
    • @@unknown-hl4bj exactly, the only changed in the car industry of the 80´s to today´s it´s the speed to create a car. In the 80´s maybe they could make 4 cars in one hour, and now they can make 12 but how? eliminating the hand jobs (quality/finished) and letting the machines put all the plastic dashboard itself and plastic cover doors itself... In the 80´s there were workshoops inside the factory, mostly women, which handcrafted the dashboard, door panels, etc Automotive industry saw this as a waste of time and money in the 2000, and they started making things "easier" faster" and cheaper to sell more cars and give customers what they wanted in the begining of the year 2000´s, cars with "gps" "phone" "dvd" "cd charger" etc

    • It was a good video but driving these old Hondas at high speed is dam right frightening- scary light steering, floaty suspension and in an accident they disintegrate so a broom is all thats needed to clean up the mess. They are good cars but high speed on anything but a perfect road isn't ideal

      @Flying_GC@Flying_GC3 жыл бұрын
    • @@Flying_GC I don't think it's frightening. I drive usually with my 97' Civic Coupe around 130-140 km/h (80-85mph) and sometimes up to 160km/h (100mph) for a longer distance. At this speed it's very stable, not very much of a light steering and my suspension is somehow not floaty. Comparing to today's standards, it is floaty, but it's really ok-ish to drive at these speeds.

At that time not a single European car in its class could top up with this Accord. 12V engines with balance shafts for excellent performance, very low fuel consumption and extremely quit ride.
