Back when I played Conan, I came home from work, logged in and found that a clan had started offline raiding me. I had my base up high, in a good location and I had good gear and thralls. I grabbed a thrall, jumped off the back of the base and ran all the way around a mountain in order to flank their trebuchet. Killed them and destroyed their raiding tower. My buddies from another clan and I spent days searching for their base. They eventually found one of them and took it out. We later came across their main base, which was built on-top of a pillar, which was supposed to be unraidable. Unfortunately for them, I speced my character to have maximum stamina and was able to climb to the top of the pillar with some bombs. There was the tiniest gap that I was able to squeeze my character into. I placed the bombs and jumped off the pillar. They went off and all around me was chunks of stone and bodies flying in every direction, as well as a couple bombs that rolled off, resulting in them detonating mid-air. I guess it was an awesome sight, but I wasn't looking, being a badass and all. We found another one of their bases a couple days later and built a wall around it before building a raiding tower and blasting it to hell. They talked so much shit, saying they were going to wipe us, but alas, they left the server after being annihilated time and time again. Guess they shouldn't have tried to offline me.

The more doors you open the more room you have. If only 1 door is open you know their camping it if you open a few doors they might move back allowing you to close or peak
i make a smaller base nearby with some kit gear to defennd with i find ppl dont expect it for some reason

lmao glad u doing good in rust, recent had teammates who were good in pvp but lazy. They got raided, then moved into our base that me and my 2 other friends had. Insided us and told us “they owned all the stuff cuz they were better in pvp”
You have to be careful with people who are good at the game but wish to live in your base. It doesn’t take long to slap down a 2x1 and TC, you can always expand as needed. I rather help them build a base than allow them full access to something they didn’t help build.
