I cannot STAND American weddings. So BORING. Especially the Catholic ones. YIKES. Ironically enough, I feel like I would very much enjoy Indian weddings.

I.e. just need some reason to keep celebrating. It's our culture and literature's very very rich, we consider marriage sacred... So we wanted it to do and wanted everyone to witness it.
Marriages is a joke in western culture. Now the indian culture is also becoming like that, due to media, Hollywood etc. The only good thing india had were marriage values.
