  • I think the difference with number two, the frogs was that most people assume tart and sour are the same. They aren't really. No. Limes have a tartness that lemons dont, so take lemon; sour, and add lime; sour + tart, and you get something extra. Some foods are tart but not sour and vice versa. A nice sharp Italian dressing is tart but isn't sour, as a good example. It's kinda like the difference between savory and umami... they both are similar and many foods are both savory and umami in different amounts, but not everything umami is savory, and vice versa. Boom. Hope this was informative.
