How We Made the Number One Girls' Pole Vault Squad in America

I coached at one high school for 4 years. The forth year the girls' pole vault squad was the number one pole vault squad at one school in the nation with 2 junior girls at 11' and 12' with a senior over 13' 3/4". This video shows many of the drills we did mixed with the progression of how their vault improved. In one shot at night you can see a vaulter doing the Rockback Rack drill. This is a device that holds the shoulders in front of the hands hanging on the high bar while the vaulter swings to full inversion ending with the shoulders still in front of the hands.
