MOMENT Ukrainian drones drop bombs on unsuspecting hidden Russian soldiers in the forest.
The images show at least two Russian soldiers walking in the open before hiding under some trees in a forested area somewhere on the front lines.
The drone films them walking in the open and tracks them to their hiding position before dropping a number of bombs on them.
The images were obtained from the Territorial Defence Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 20th September, along with a statement saying that the Russian soldiers were detected thanks to "intelligence work".
The Territorial Defence Forces said the Russians "decided to demonstrate the short life cycle of the Russian occupier on Ukrainian land".

As a Vietnam vet I find it amazing how this war has transformed combat. Russia a major country was caught totally unprepared for the 21st century warfare. I'm sure the US is taking notes because the Ukrainians have shown the world how future wars will be fought.

Daam, how the hell do you defend against that? Drones can stay for hours in the sky. 2 drones can go on a relay. One stay and watch while another go back and rearm. If a formation is caught out in the open without proper air defense support, the drones can wipe out an entire company of men just like that. War is terrifying.

Usually you can hear these for hundreds of meters, especially when they are above. They must have been speaking loudly or the strong winds covered the noise.

This sort of thing has been around for awhile, long before this war. I think it wasn't nearly as prevalent from what I've seen, though.
These are modded consumer-level drones from DJI or similar. Just some 3D-printed parts and a grenade from soviet grenade launcher

In the first month of the war I remember seeing drone footage of 2 young russian soldiers huddled in a hole in a field, a drone was overhead watching them and they could do nothing but stay in spot and they even waved at the drone in a moment of humanity. All I thought watching that was... "Next month that drone is going to be dropping bombs on them". Now the drones are dropping bombs on them.
I’m sure they would wave, especially after bombing apartment buildings and train stations full of civilians. Bet they felt real sorry.

These videos notably do not include scenes that show the physical trauma. In many, the death of the soldiers can be inferred(ie their tank or APC exploding), but even those videos do not show limbs scattering. Even corpses are censored to abide by the guidelines.
