Our First Build - Storage and Dog Shed | Season 1 Episode 4
In today's video, we start the first build on the homestead. We are building a storage/dog shed that will have space for the dogs to sleep, a wash area for the dogs, and some extra storage for us.

Hi guys, may i ask you why your steep path to your property doesn't have a water ditch? My English is not so good, but I understood in a previous video that someone helped you who understands something about gravel streets. From my experience, I know if in a heavy rain the water runs down like I saw at the end of these video, you soon start all over again to rebuild your driveway. I recommend you, to tilt the road slightly against the mountain side as soon as possible and excavate a channel that then drips the water separately. I wish you good luck with all your projects. I just saw a collar for your dog that uses a map and GPS so you can have as big of an area as you want for him to run in. If we didn't live so far out in the boonies I would look into getting it for my dogs.
That is something we’ve been looking into, they sound really interesting!
And another thing I don't like it that we didn't check to see if the boards were crowned or not so I don't know if I'm going to be watching this much longer
We appreciate the comments, the video would be too long if we documented every step of the process but we are doing everything we can to make this a safe build, even if you don’t see it on camera.
Okay I just started watching these guys I'm really not too crazy on how they built the dog house I know they built it for the dogs but still the plywood they put underneath sags it's not right it doesn't look right it should have been tacked up the right way and if he built a house like that I really feel sorry for you guys
