I have been feeding the anoles and a couple skinks in my back yard for a couple years now. They are all wild but to an extent comfortable with me and game for a free meal.

Awww what a cutie. :) That's neat that you hand tamed a wild one. I love these little guys, I have some Green Anoles as pets and they are wonderful little lizards.

I used to live in south Louisiana and had the Mediterranean house geckos anoles bullfrogs and garter snakes that would all come around and I had some crickets for a pet lizard I had and would feed the anoles and bullfrogs from time to time but I’ve tamed a lot of the little house geckos near where I live because I’ll catch them and take them inside when it gets really cold and feed them then let them go when it warms up

These days there are no skinks or green anoles present. The brown anoles have displaced the greens and skinks and now are competing with the most recent addition which are the gold dust day geckos. They all like the meal worms and have no problem seeking them from me when I am out there and offering the worms.

I feed mine like this outside as well. They come running from all over my porch to eat ❤️ I hate that people cage them. They are awesome wild pets
