  • I did my ummah 2 years ago and I did not see all that advanced capitalism as a bad thing with the fast food places or clothing stores at the time. But looking at it now, from this perspective, I can see how the construction of that area is massively impacting its true image. Also like to say, I love this channel. The narrative and content is beautifully said and very useful.

    • The problem is you maybe aren't aware of the extreme amount of haram that is behind these capitalist systems. Especially when it comes to interest and usury. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are seventy degrees of usury, the least of which is equivalent to a man having intercourse with his mother." حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ الرِّبَا سَبْعُونَ حُوبًا أَيْسَرُهَا أَنْ يَنْكِحَ الرَّجُلُ أُمَّهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ Grade: Hasan (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan Ibn Majah 2274 In-book reference : Book 12, Hadith 138 English translation : Vol. 3, Book 12, Hadith 2274
