  • You look tired and deflated! Cheer up or it will start affecting your physical health. Every year thousands of Floridians go through losing their homes to hurricanes, storm surges; homes get damaged beyond repair, mold starts immediately grow after the flooding. Infrastructure destroyed, bridges collapsed, cars damaged or destroyed, no water, electricity in a scorching heat and high humidity. Yet, everyone and everything eventually rebounds.

    @MaryJones-fs4wf@MaryJones-fs4wf9 күн бұрын
    • Yes we will rebound. And yes I am tired we have a lot of things to sort as well as trying to get on with our immediate responsibilities.

    • Praise the Lord the water is dropping so fast!!🙌🙌 Does the government have any recommendations or standards posted on how to safely clean? I wouldn’t know the protocol. 7 people is a lot in a 2 bedroom apartment especially if you’re not in the routine of how that can go smoothly. You all are doing wonderfully!! You have been under an extreme amount of stress for quite some time and we’re proud of how well you all are handling it😎 I appreciate being updated, not at the expense of rest you all need. The quality of the editing is just fine. You’re in extreme circumstances. Everyone understands that. Keeping reading your Bibles, praying, and praising the Lord together. You’re being prayed for 🙏🙏🙏

    • Didn't Florida evacuate 5 million people once? I always remember that number because the whole country I live in, New Zealand, so 5 million seems like a staggering number.

      @tanyaroberson9629@tanyaroberson96298 күн бұрын
    • @@tanyaroberson9629 I've never heard of that, CNN hyped it up. secondly, it would be impossible for there is practically one major highway out of Florida. lastly people evacuate on their own, never forced. Lots of people were evacuating from Miami area in 2017, not in millions though, but Hurricane Irma had changed its path. It was pure hell coming back for people were exhausted, gas station lines were a mile long, screaming kids, heat, humidity, eating from cans, no showers for a week - you've got the picture.

So Russia only paid around 400 million and that was for the biggest nuclear disaster of our lifetime. I have been looking for other disaster payouts but i cant seem to find any. But by the looks of things they may get a few thousand dollars at most.

I usually leave my home for few weeks until authorities restore electricity, water and check premises for safety, remove safety and health hazards from roads, bridges etc. Do not rush! No money in the world would speed up the recovery of your house. There is a process. Sometime bureaucracy is good - they are responsible for your health and safety. Count your blessing, relax, you are not living in a tent right now.

The Governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler decided to reimburse rent for rented housing for three months: 10 thousand rubles to a single citizen and 20 thousand rubles to a family of two or more persons

      @RussianTravels@RussianTravels9 күн бұрын
  • The one year plan sounds realistic. Renting seems like a necessity, but demand will suddenly have increased because of the floods. Properties might be both more expensive and quite difficult to come by. You could move further afield, where rentals might be easier to find and cheaper, but then you have the security problem. I was wondering how well you get on with the family members you are staying with. If you do have difficulties renting, maybe they could have an extended holiday in a rental elsewhere (at your expense) while you stay in their property in Orenberg to fix things. Accommodation for two is generally easier to come by and a lot cheaper. It would be 'above and beyond' but might be worth broaching.

I wonder what you will receive in compensation. Apparently there is concern about radioactive and chemical pollution from Soviet -era uranium mines in the Kurgan region. There's a chance that the pollution will seep into the Tobol river in western Siberia. The uranium deposits are located in Zverinogolovsky district. Rosatom operate this for the state.

  • Hi martyn an yuliya first thing is you need your house to be looked at by insurance company so they can assessing all damage plus building insurance to asses the internal damage because if you start without there blessing they may not pay out anything. You need to get that first then when they say stripp out then you can start because you have 2 types of damage 1 building damage like electrical cables switches interwall damage ie all plasterboard ceiling plasterboard as its all full of moisture and bugs all internal insulation if not removed it will dry but black damp will be huge problem all must be removed 2 all electrical in house is damaged 3 timber frame will be sodden if left will dry out but the dry rot sets in all needs removed 4 all bathroom and kitchen units need replacing allmcookers microwave and all hall units cupboards plus all bedrooms fitted wardrobes all need removed all internal doors arkatreds skirting door frames all double glass windows . Unfortunately the whole house needs gutting out the only thing left will be the outer brick work absolutely everything needs put in land fill bethe whole house needs to be strped or dampness will be trapped and then black damp will kill you but get authorisation first from building and content insurance company first its needed martyn i dont think you have come to terms with this enormous job you got presswasher and generator but is the water still being pumping to your house as pumping station may be severe damage the other thing is whers ars you going to try keep anything you can salvage and clean you cant take it to where you are staying have you had your house assessed by building insurance and had contents insurance assessed first have you got authorisation to start stripping out or any kind of go ahead as in a lot of insurance policys you start that may revoke insurance claim you need all authorisation first unless if not insured you can start most important thing is to get everthat absorbed water must be put in rubbish the only thing you should have is a bare btick outer and inner shell plus roof so that it can really dry out then a structural survey if its ok then you need builderx to rebuild internal new insulation new electrical new eood frames new plasterboard new doors windows then new bathroom new kitchen new units new wardrobes plus all nea furniture beds ect plus a very few recovered items not being criticism to you just realising your situation goodluck prayers sent to all of you god bless you all

IMHO

  • If you rely on the government for help, you are done for in any country. Also keep a rainy day fund is everything....you are living in Russia....things are more unstable.....you have made some extremely large mistakes and now are paying for them. It sucks but i am sorry, i dont think asking others for money for your mistakes is bad.

    • A flood wasn’t our mistake. Who holds the funds to replace a home for a rainy day. Yes that is why we have had to ask for donations. We have 3 properties within the extended family affected.

    • @@RussianTravels People are being paid compensation now, the money you should be getting to live will be counted towards the end compensation. Cause people are getting paid 200-1000 per person by what all the news outlets are saying. I have had friends who lost there homes to fire....they didnt get back even half and they had full insurance. I get it this is one of the biggest things anyone can go through....another is a divorce where you lose 50% and pay monthly to your ex even though you hate the person but you gotta pay for there lifestyle.

    • @@user-rz2lr8mk2w No i am a realist. Bad things happen and if you arent prepared then you will suffer. Covid bankrupted so many people it isnt funny. So many people i know lost everything they have worked for cause the government wouldnt let them run there business. If covid didnt wake a person up to having a large investment of money than nothing will i guess.
