Nearly all the experts thought LSU was a solid team, but thought they would have to make the playoffs as a one loss team without a conference title (kinda like how everyone for sure thought USC was going to beat Texas in the 2006 Rose Bowl). Jordan Jefferson, Anthony Jennings, Brandon Taylor... They all SUCKED and couldn't generate a win when the pressure was on. Les Miles' BCS championship was accomplished with a QB, Matt Flynn, recruited by Nick Saban. Mettenberger was good but not great. Burrow is GREAT. The first time we faced Jim Harbaugh was in 1985 (before I was born though) with him as Michigan's QB. Iowa won on a last second field goal and ended their unbeaten season (we were ranked number one at the time, they were two). The first time Harbaugh came to Kinnick as Michigan's head coach, he came in with a Top 3 squad in 2016. We won (how else?) on a last second field goal and AGAIN ended Michigan's unbeaten season!
