It's my boyfriend's birthday tomorrow and tiramisu is his all time favorite dessert. But he never eats it because he only likes it fresh and he doesn't like "baking". I'm going to add bananas to the cream and substitute the espresso for cocoa for the kids. I am so excited! Thank you! Edit: It was so delicious and easy!!

First I hear it's best to whip the eggs in a ice cold bowl and now there is a hot bowl being used? I'm confused
i guess they used hot water to prevent the egg from remaining raw and to kill the bacteria inside of it
So the eggs cook, no raw eggs.
