I really enjoyed Otto and Emil's no-rubber-vs-rubber match. I especially liked how Emil took his advantage and really put Otto through the works. It helped me see how a no-rubber paddle would actually be used in a real match. I just wanted to say this to appreciate how much they both put into it, and treated it as a real match.
sometimes my brother would willingly use a wooden racket like that, the "defensive power" is pretty insane, seems idiotic but it is no joke...

@@aja5177 come on man, no they’re not. Like yes, they are while they’re playing, but not while we’re watching. In between them playing and us watching is a whole process of editing and uploading. So for them, it would look like 3 people wearing all green, with a green sheet behind them (the green screen). For us, it would look like just table tennis rackets hitting a ball with no people, because in the editing process they would have keyed out green to look like the background. They would also have to take a clean plate of the background without them in it to replace the green screen. I have no idea why you think green screen technology is impossible, it has literally existed since 1940.
@@samberg3864 to be honest I thought the original commenter was implying that by wearing green suits and using green screen technology the players would only be able to see the bats, creating a challenge. I know what green screen is don’t worry🤣

My grandfather was in the Swiss national team and was the only one to play with a blade without rubbers when he participated at the world championships in Paris in 1933. He was known for his defense ability and he always said he had a better feeling (not talking about sex ;-) Nice videos from your team by the way!

I practiced it with my nephew (9 years old 13 m ;) ). I hit about 20 meters (90% power, I was without warming up) with an old slippery tennis racket. I think you can hit a lot further with less backspin.
The one downside of an expensive racket is that there is too much spin for some scenarios like this one
