Well I've just had my first try with a glue gun. After a while no glue came out so I cut off the stick with a knife and pulled it out. Put a new stick in, pulled the trigger and a big blob of glue fell on the carpet which I automatically picked up. I've got what looks like cobwebs everywhere. I'm going to train a spider to do my gluing with silk in exchange for a ready supply of flies. Yes the glue is hot!
