I mean, we knew it anyway, but what a gentleman Simon is! Dropped everything at short notice, purchasing a mattress, bedding, pillows and being your chauffeur for the week! Not forgetting Evie with the washing and camera work and probably lots more we dont know about! Absolute legends the pair of them.

And keep an eye out for the long thin slithery ones, can be a bit nasty. Golf Mates, don't think all courses in Australia are sand scrapes in 40 degrees. You've got balls, 😜 I learnt to play golf on that course and what's worse 300 yards west back towards the school is where I learnt to play Rugby League. Local members tend to have a Bellata set of clubs and a every where else set of clubs. Nice to see the course green. cheers mate

Brilliant! Nice to see Simon back on the channel. Brought me back to when you played Barra. I made a point of taking a short set of 5 clubs in my camper van when my wife and I (and our young labrador) did the outer hebrides in 2022 and played Barra on my own!

This course reminds me of a course I started playing golf on....except I actually got to put on grass greens. But about 15 years ago that golf course got a make-over and has better than decent fairways now. The greens seem about the exact same though as when I was a kid.

The browns reminded me of the army golf course in Dhekelia in Cyprus. If the sand was thin, which could happen after rain your approach chip would bounce a long way. Fun days.
