Its been an incredibly strange year for all, but 2020 has finally come to an end! 😷 Its been a very busy year for the emergency services too, and I've managed to capture some great footage of emergency vehicles Responding over the year, especially videos of the police in action!
This video shows some of my best videos of police cars responding from over the year, including unmarked cars, police convoys, armed officers and lots of sirens, lights and action!
Huge thanks to our amazing emergency services who have worked tirelessly over this crazy year to keep us safe! 💙

  • 3:18 look at the rear reg plate ..... solid blue light 3:22 for the speed cameras, so they know the car has police contol permission to speed to a shout. Else it be paperwork search to find permission who was the driver and why speeding. Digital cameras may not pick up the strobing blue lights, hence solid one.

  • The static blue light that is on most modern vehicles, is actually to make it easier for the administration at the various stations to find out if the vehicles are responding to emergency calls when they trigger a speed camera. If this light is illuminated it means the vehicle was on emergency response!

  • Interesting then in the UK a lot of police cars are BMW. In Germany, as far as I know, only the Bavarian police have BMW cars. In Hamburg there is a Mercedes-Benz as a police car, which I think is cool. Occasionally Porsche on the autobahn. But a lot of Fords are also on the road as police cars and I think you should also support the national car manufacturers as the police or the regulatory authorities or the authorities in general and not buy foreign models.

  • Very nice footage. We're struggling in Australia to find the perfect Highway Patrol vehicle, ever since our V8 Holdens and V8/ turbo 6 Fords stopped being built. Our police are state run, so each state has different vehicles and liveries. Victoria use BMWs 5 series and Mercedes, NSW use Chrysler 300Cs, Queensland use Kia Stingers. Not sure what the others use. Feedback has shown that chosen models are either too small, too unreliable or underpowered. There's talk of importing something from the US.

    • Rear reds are for when stationary/slow moving. Some drivers will stick then on when responding or when the last vehicle in a convoy.

    • The US police system is actually based on the British model (as are most) -the UK was the inventor of the modern metropolitan police service). The FBI also famously received their driver training from the Met.
