At this years concert tour he explained the meaning of this song a little bit more. He said this song describes the different stages someone goes through while falling into depression. He suffert from depression himself. His 2 mental health trilogies plus 7 Personalities are about his journey through and out of depression and finally healing.

Thank you for this excellent reaction & thank you Moonbaby for the request. This is one of my favourite Hua Chenyu songs, it has so much depth in it. Hua is such an amazing composer and arranger as well as singer, he has these musical "visions" that he turns into reality, he is so varied not limiting himself to any genre, I find him an utterly fascinating artist. 🌺🌺
I love how he melds genres together. So cool.
He’s very brave to speak up on what he had been through, in such a dramatic way, and the music is so unique and beautiful

Conversations with martian children. All songs are from his 4th album New World. This trilogy is followed by the Healing trilogy on his 5th album Hope/Forget. The 5th album also includes the song Illusion and Reality. I can't really choose if I love 7 Personalities or Illusion and Reality more. 😊 Hope you will check out more Hua Chenyu songs. Very much enjoyed your analysis and insights on 7P, it's one of HuaHua's many masterpieces. HuaHua went through a bout of depression in early 2019 and decided to write about it to let his fans know what he went through and that he felt better, but also to draw awareness on depression which is slightly overlooked in China. To accomplish this Hua wrote a trilogy of songs of which 7P is Nr0, the first one is Conversation with the Children of Mars, a dialogue song written and sung together with his fans at his 2019 Haikou concert in which he explains more of his off stage personality, the 2nd song (although he does change the order of the songs) is I Really Want to Love this World, light music paired with deep lyrics, in which he explains how deep into depression he went and how he overcame it and saved himself, the 3rd song is Madhouse, a reggae, in which he reviews all the stories, issues, online bullying that drove him to overthinking and almost losing his mind. 7P is imprinted with buddhist and taoism philosophies, Hua is conflicted, he's in a conflict, he would like to settle his issues serenely according to his beliefs, but the anger builds, thoughts race through his mind with very little rest leading him to madness. Then in 2021, HuaHua wrote the Healing Trilogy, three songs in which he explains how he got out of his depression in the hope that these three songs could give hope, relief and help those suffering from depression to find a way to get better. These songs are I Really Want Myself back, Let's Meet When the Flowers Fall, Let's Go Watch the Sunrise Together. Other than that, since then he has also written fun songs like Black and White Artist, Airplane Mode, beautiful ballads like Sea of Winds, a gorgeous folk song dedicated to his mother Flower from the Small Town, jazzy When the Whole World Forgets Me and many other uplifting songs.

Loved your analysis and comments. You can't go wrong with any of his songs. Each has its uniqueness. You are right about one of the things you said. Hua covers a lot about dark issues not many will cover in a song. His experiences has given him courage to give hope to many that can relate to these subjects in the open. He is a rare gem and needs to be more exposed.
