I love how this game fully took advantage of hulk's rogues gallery. He has some awesome villains. Abomination and Leader aren't the only ones which writers seem to forget. Shame these characters aren't given any love, they're all awesome. We haven't even gotten any action figures of most of these guys. I want my Half Life and Madman figures Hasbro

I loved this game as a kid. I like how everyone has their own “Eye indicator” with their health. Also my dumb ass didn’t know what i was doing and wouldn’t save my game so every time i played it was from the very beginning lmao. One day i played the entire day and when I finally got past sneaking around alcatraz as Banner i was so happy to finally see something new lol. Good times.

@@bakedcrystal915 I just beaten it, used to play as a kid but never got past the alcatraz stage, the one after you fight half life the first time, it is a good game, kept me entertained in my playthrough, i think it is worth a play of it, don't know if I'll come back to finish it again someday, played on normal and it was difficult at times, especially bosses, died a couple of times to each boss, I wouldn't want to play it on hard, but i think it would be cool making a new Hulk game with some ideas from this one, more fleshed out that is, like Banner stealth sections and the Hulk Stages too.

@@leonardoreis4308 I remember as a kid this game being kinda scary. I enjoyed it, but Hulk Ultimate a Destruction is way better imo. My brother replayed this game, and I watched/played a little bit; it’s good. The voice acting is good, the atmosphere is tense and a bit creepy, the graphics are actually nice for a 2003 game, etc. Also, the Banner parts are an interesting addition but I think they could’ve been done a little better (Banner has a gun, maybe? Even a knife? Or if he’s sneaking into military compounds, maybe some body armor? ). Also, the Hulk moves are repetitive as hell. In Ultimate Destruction, you have so many moves at your disposal to play around with. In this one, he’s only got a few basic combos...

Always found interesting Ravage's fighting style is a mixture of Hulk's air attacks and Banner's regular punches (the finishing uppercut being replaced for the rising knee attack) instead of Hulk's more heavy and brutal fighting style. Feels like Ravage does what Bruce would if he fully controlled the Hulk.

Some tips: 1) Try to use your gamma to push half-life into the generators to cause maximum damage 2) You can toss flux onto the consoles to destroy them, whenever possible (this'll hit 2 birds in 1 stone) and later, toss him onto the exposed core to cause maximum damage

For some reason I always found this game having lotsa Half-Life (the 1998 game) vibes, the other way around since I actually played this one first. But the whole "scientific project gone wrong", militaries taking over facilities and hunting down scientists felt quite similar. Oh and a final boss that had a giant head and could speak to you telepathically lol. And ofc Half-Life being an actual boss.

I could never get past Flux when playing this game. For one thing, he is very strong and durable which results to your punches do very little to him while his punches, kicks, and stomps does more damage to you! He is also very quick, flexible, and has more skill than you which means he has more ways to land hits on you! Finally, he keeps throwing those fucking grenades which does more damage to you and you only get very little health in return!

reminded myself of this game recently, and now I'm watching the old boss fights. I could not tell you how 8 or 9 year old me beat this though, it looks much more difficult than I remember. I thought Maestro was in this one as well as the leader. But I guess I was wrong. Those stealth bits were a PAIN. I remember kid me recognizing everyone except for Half Life, whom I thought was Banner's dad from the Ang Lee movie. XD

As a kid I beat this game so many times and never grew bored of it. Now a days It's hard for me to even immerse myself in a game long enough to reach the halfway point.

This gane's graphics was so ahead of it's time like holy shit the character literally has cel shading and shadows and not just the round Minecraft type shadow no, the characters straight up*CASTS* shadows. Not even Ultimate Destruction or Rhe Incredible Hulk has that

I love how this game fully took advantage of hulk's rogues gallery. He has some awesome villains. Abomination and Leader aren't the only ones which writers seem to forget. Shame these characters aren't given any love, they're all awesome. We haven't even gotten any action figures of most of these guys. I want my Half Life and Madman figures Hasbro

Honestly, Hulk has a great rogues gallery. Unfortunately the majority of his villains are very obscure and no one ever really talks about them, which is a shame.
The best part about this game, it's a confirmed sequel to the first movie. Especially in Level 2 with Bruce in the elevator, "My time in South America was an escape."
This is probably the most powerful version of the Leader that has ever been done. Telepathy, teleportation, levitation, psionic blasts, and even illusions? Along with gadgets and a genius level intelligent This is a Leader worthy of facing the Hulk

There was one stealth mission I couldn't pass as banner. Never got to finish the game cause my Xbox ended up being stolen

Weird, They were so hard at times but honestly replaying them was some of my favorite memories, especially when you disguise as the soldier

I loved this game as a kid. I like how everyone has their own “Eye indicator” with their health. Also my dumb ass didn’t know what i was doing and wouldn’t save my game so every time i played it was from the very beginning lmao. One day i played the entire day and when I finally got past sneaking around alcatraz as Banner i was so happy to finally see something new lol. Good times.

This game was pure fun... The sound effects, enemy design was brilliant and the voice acting was hilarious
"This isn't your power, but it's my curse, and I'm taking it back." Wise words from Bruce. Almost as if he accepts being The Incredible Hulk even though he'll still be viewed as the enemy by the military. That's very bold if you ask me.

This game was extremely difficult as a kid. Wasn't till I was older I went back to beat it. Also the music made me feel uneasy.

@@bakedcrystal915 I just beaten it, used to play as a kid but never got past the alcatraz stage, the one after you fight half life the first time, it is a good game, kept me entertained in my playthrough, i think it is worth a play of it, don't know if I'll come back to finish it again someday, played on normal and it was difficult at times, especially bosses, died a couple of times to each boss, I wouldn't want to play it on hard, but i think it would be cool making a new Hulk game with some ideas from this one, more fleshed out that is, like Banner stealth sections and the Hulk Stages too.

@@leonardoreis4308 I remember as a kid this game being kinda scary. I enjoyed it, but Hulk Ultimate a Destruction is way better imo. My brother replayed this game, and I watched/played a little bit; it’s good. The voice acting is good, the atmosphere is tense and a bit creepy, the graphics are actually nice for a 2003 game, etc. Also, the Banner parts are an interesting addition but I think they could’ve been done a little better (Banner has a gun, maybe? Even a knife? Or if he’s sneaking into military compounds, maybe some body armor? ). Also, the Hulk moves are repetitive as hell. In Ultimate Destruction, you have so many moves at your disposal to play around with. In this one, he’s only got a few basic combos...
@@FlammablePaper Well think about it. 2003 Hulk was new to banner. He wasn't used to the Hulk like he did in 2008. He had just transformed for the first time and hulk mind at the time was like an frightened child lashing out hence why he wanted to be left alone.
Crazy home much I loved this game , hulk ultimate destruction was one of the best superhero games of all time , but this was just as good. Spiderman 2002 game and this were great movie games.

The Toughest Boss for me was Ravage.
Always found interesting Ravage's fighting style is a mixture of Hulk's air attacks and Banner's regular punches (the finishing uppercut being replaced for the rising knee attack) instead of Hulk's more heavy and brutal fighting style. Feels like Ravage does what Bruce would if he fully controlled the Hulk.

Some tips: 1) Try to use your gamma to push half-life into the generators to cause maximum damage 2) You can toss flux onto the consoles to destroy them, whenever possible (this'll hit 2 birds in 1 stone) and later, toss him onto the exposed core to cause maximum damage
For some reason I always found this game having lotsa Half-Life (the 1998 game) vibes, the other way around since I actually played this one first. But the whole "scientific project gone wrong", militaries taking over facilities and hunting down scientists felt quite similar. Oh and a final boss that had a giant head and could speak to you telepathically lol. And ofc Half-Life being an actual boss.
I loved this game super underrated the boss battles and character designs were great i love the two on one boss battle that was really cool

The sound that they gave to the hulk in this game makes him intimidating,wish they put that sound affect and some of those abilities in the movie that came in the same year.

Since Insomniac is working on a Wolverine game. I would love to see a big-budget Hulk game. It doesn't have to be by Insomniac though.
It never occurred to me how cartoony this game was when I last played this, but to be honest this still gives me nostalgia vibes. I dont remember if I beat the game, but I know the Half-Life fight took me a little bit to actually beat while the other baddies weren't as difficult.

I just had to watch some gameplay after watching the movies and jheez, never realized that I never got past the first boss, understandable for a 7 year old tho. Still had tons of fun with it. Really hope they bring some of these characters into the MCU

Damn man, nice intro out here! I wished my aunt and I had completed this game. I remember one time we were on this sleuth mission in this game. She got caught 3 Times and I got caught only once. And then the 5th time, we finally made it out of that mission, but we forgot to save on that part. It was soul crushing 😅. Thank you for your hard work on showing all the bosses.

I just got this game today and i haven't played it since 2003 and I still got skill. Only i had no idea grey hulk was playable in this.
I could never get past Flux when playing this game. For one thing, he is very strong and durable which results to your punches do very little to him while his punches, kicks, and stomps does more damage to you! He is also very quick, flexible, and has more skill than you which means he has more ways to land hits on you! Finally, he keeps throwing those fucking grenades which does more damage to you and you only get very little health in return!

reminded myself of this game recently, and now I'm watching the old boss fights. I could not tell you how 8 or 9 year old me beat this though, it looks much more difficult than I remember. I thought Maestro was in this one as well as the leader. But I guess I was wrong. Those stealth bits were a PAIN. I remember kid me recognizing everyone except for Half Life, whom I thought was Banner's dad from the Ang Lee movie. XD
