Thing is, I think Jeff was totally right that he and Abed are the only sane members of the group. Now, some would point to the season 3 episode which revealed that Abed was the only one who scored sane on the test Britta gave, but Jeff admitted that he just filled it all out at random. I bet if he tried, he would have also scored sane, like Abed. It's neat how this show went to such lengths to connect the littlest of comments to later jokes.

In case anyone's wondering: When Cookie Crisp was introduced in 1977, its mascot was a wizard called Cookie Jarvis. In 1985, Jarvis was replaced by the Cookie Crook and Cookie Cop, where the crook would steal the Cookie Crisp only to be caught by the cop at the end of the commercial. In 1990, the Cookie Crook got a sidekick, Chip the Dog, who would speak what would become the cereal's catchphrase, "Coooooookie Crisp!" imitating a howl. In 1997, the Cookie Crook and Cookie Cop were retired, leaving Chip the Dog as the sole mascot. In 2003, the cereal was introduced to international markets, where Chip was changed into a wolf. Finally, in 2005, Chip the Dog became Chip the Wolf in all territories.
