@@playanddisplay3636 what? Isuzu literally makes some of the best engines on the planet. They are literally referred to as, "the kings of diesel" and for good reason. GM didn't "choose" the duramax, they helped develop it, together. The 4j series is one of the most reliable engines ever built. It's the base platform for the original LB7. It's essentially 2 4ja1 engines put together. Isuzu is renowned and sought after world wide for their diesel prowess. The only three diesel builders to even come close to them are caterpillar, Cummins and Detroit. Isuzu LB7 is still one of the most reliable of all the Duramax lineup due to its simpler setup, lack of emissions and forged internals. It was only prone to 3 big issues, fuel injectors, head gasket and fuel filter housing o ring. 3 easy fixes, each done in an afternoon. I love my LB7, best heavy duty diesel ive owned. Isuzu is the king of diesel.

Duramax are a joke especially wrapped in a garbage GM truck. The fact that GM guys call the LB7 reliable says it all. GM is garbage, got grease under my fingernails for the last 30 years wrenching. So, keep living with those soft hands I got work to do.

Lb7 is globally renowned and sought after. Used in everything from Indian farm tractors to toothpick river boats in the Philippines. An engine known for going over 300k on stock internals while hauling it's entire life. We don't have the option of a diesel being wrapped in a good body in America, we're stuck with gm, Chrysler and ford. You've said nothing but random words so far with nothing to back your claims. Give me some research or at least a hint that you have some real knowledge about what you're saying or use real techs will run circles around you forever. Being a used tire installer for 30 years don't count as tech work. If you'd like, I'd take on an apprentice, but you'd never make it in collision....you ain't got the eye for detail, or you'd have detailed the reasoning to your retarded claims.
