  • It is not scary what he had done in real life. What scary is that a lot of people in chat box are still believing that movie is mentioning lies and they are supporting indirectly. This mindset is extremely threatening and alarming. These pattern of comments can be seen in any movie in this type of jounra( The Kashmir files etc.). People are deliberately believing in madness and ignoring the elephant in the room.

  • Well, it was *really dumb of the American woman to get kidnapped!* He said, "I was born here, but grew up in England. But my parents still live here." Then _who_ brought him up, in UK? _if his parents never left India?_ she ought to have asked. Then he says, "My wife & I are going to the Red Fort," inviting her to join them. But, at the rendezvous, he's alone, mumbling some (inaudible) excuse about his wife's absence! *That's the point she should've refused to get into the van, **_alone_** ,with him.* Any sensible woman would've said, "No, thanks!". But she'd to show she was an independent modern girl, didn't she? Truth be told, some woman (more than men! unfortunately) do like the whiff of danger, excited by the possibility of violence, they feel empowered by teasing a man to his limits, convinced that she'd be able to pull back and deny herself at the last moment! E.g. the case of the performance artist Pippa Bacca, who set herself "to promote world peace" (what a genial idea!) by hitch-hiking through the Middle East, dressed in a flowing white bridal gown, and was duly raped & cut up by a Turkish truck driver who'd picked her up. I myself used to know an American woman who, despite being critical of Islam, had a particular weakness for Muslim men, especially if refugees & already married... last heard, she was travelling in Syria, at the height of ISIS' dominion. Perhaps, director Hansal Mehta has also modelled this character on some such woman he has known. _Fools rush in where angels fear to tread!_
