If you are interested in the 1stGenFishing Copperhead. Here is a link to it on TW- www.tacklewarehouse.com/searc...
This lure is very unique and it sets itself apart from every other vibrating jig out there on the market. The head consists of 2 copper BB's that creates a loud ticking sound when reeled through the water. This lure thumps hard and searches a lot more than your traditional vibrating jigs. First time commiting a whole day of fishing with it and it has definitely found a special place in my tackle box.

  • John shook my hands on Saturday, now I have ALL of his fishing knowledge!! lol Jokes aside, he was sooo friendly. It’s nice to have someone as experienced as he is yet so friendly, he was all smiles!! The interactions with both u and John definitely made my weekend! So chill and humble! 👍🏼

  • My go to bait for big bass at clear lake when I was fishing tournaments was a large spinnerbait on along cast sink it outta the bottom and slow roll it back right on the bottom or a large swim bait fished the same way as .out of that lake is around 15 feet deep and we would win a lot of tournaments that way back then there were no chatter baits in colder months occasionally I would fish a deep large suspending crank bait with a stop and go retrieve

  • What’s the name of that bait and the trailer?? I was up there this past weekend, I fished the southern end of the lake and did pretty’s dang good on Saturday. Got myself a small boat (Drift-Boat) normally I’d be salmon fishing, but obviously that’s not a factor. I’ve gotten into bass a lot the last couple years and clear lake is amazing. My drift boat with my 9.9 mercury and trolling motor does the trick as king as the lakes weather cooperates. Anyway I caught most mine on a drop shot. And my biggest was 6.7lbs, nothing like your big one. Anyway sorry for rant. I’m new to this chatter-bait, unfortunately haven’t hooked any fishing them yet. Curious on any suggestions for specific type of chatter bait. And the trailer? I fished a keitech on the back but no luck. Thank you so much. And when will this bait be released?!- And where can I order

  • Not trying to sound negative, but seems you are reeling fast and horsing these fish in, instead of taking your time and tiring them out a bit. Maybe it's the tournaments that get you in that mode?? Anyway, nice fish and thanks for taking us on the water with you!!

    • There's a lot of reasons for it. 1 i was trying to put a lot of stress on this new lure to see how it holds up. Wanted to see if the split rings or the snap will straighten up or pop open. But with my chatterbait rod, its a soft rod and has a lot of parabolic bend, i have it paired to a 6 gear so it may look like im horsing fish in all the time but i just need to keep pressure on the fish and let the rod do all the work. I like to get them near the boat and fight them there rather than having to take my time and fight them further out because theres high chance they'll get snagged. I have better control of the fish if im fighting it by the boat.
