The reasons behind some of these things are so comically arbitrary. Half of the things added in the new updates are things that people 5 years ago would've said feel "not fit for vanilla Minecraft." The Deep Dark is literally a biome-wide stealth segment. And personally, I think anything to make Minecraft's boring later game better would be great, because major progression just stops dead in its tracks past The Nether. The only major new ability you get are elytras.
I completely agree. If mojang were to add an end update, then we would get so many new things to explore after defeating the dragon. I really hope 1.21 is an end update because of this

Add shield enchantments! Thorns, unbreaking, arrow absorption (so arrows get added to your inventory when they hit the shield). How about an enchantment that makes mobs more likely to attack your shield when you raise it (like taunting?)

the funny thing about Mojang classifying Cannons as guns is that Cannons aren't legally guns. Neither are Flintlock pistols for that matter, and Cannons show up often in Fantasy settings.
Depends where you are and only for prosecuting reasons. In the US, black powder firearms aren't legally firearms due to being muzzleloaders and thus totally obsolete in conflicts. This isn't the case everywhere, since they are still firearms despite obsolescence.
And yet they have no problems with other Medieval weapons, it's like they think it's worse to be killed instantly by a cannonball than being slowly and viciously hacked to bits with a sword or axe. Personally, I think the nitwits at Mojang should do a bit of research on Medieval battle graves, and maybe take a closer look at the skeletons dug up from the battle of their very own Visby, that took place in 1361. _Then_ I'd like to hear their explanation, on how some weapons apparently are too violent for them...

when I first started playing bedrock minecraft (I used to play on xbox 360 which didnt have shields) I was so confused when I found out protection didnt go on shields

Or rather, some enchant like spikes/retaliate (Activates when you block but not when you get hit.) They could also add a rebound/counter push that knocks the enemy away and one that makes axe stun less effective or even one that, when the shield is hit, stuns the enemy weapon for a bit (or at least causes the attack reload thing to take longer.)

So Glowing Mushrooms aren't enough of their own idea to be added, but they already exist... kind of. Brown Mushrooms give off a light level of one.

Glowing mushrooms ARE in Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2. In Below the Bedrock, there are glowing mushrooms in Fred's Keep. If you don't know about Fred, Fred is an deceased admin from Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2.
I quite like the idea of ballistas, just the idea of being able to control a larger bow that never breaks with rapid fire and better range I think would be useful for base defense. As well as a nice aesthetic option for bases. Same with catapults to launch blocks. I think stationary weapons would be cool. It would be fun to have more options when it comes to having the home advantage.

in most of my survival worlds im too lazy for a skeleton farm or crafting normal arrows so i just barter with piglins for spectral arrows

Uhh he was not talking about the regular spectral arrows, instead when they hit an entity the glow lines are white. But using commands that line color can be changed. So that was an idea to get colorful glow outline spectral arrows in vanilla survival Minecraft. (But still MC Bedrock still didn't get the spectral arrows so he is half right but still...)
tbh, Torches burning out would add some Aesthetics and also give reason to use Lanterns like the original reason why Torches were meant to burn out 7:37 oxidized Iron would be great to use
But it would lead to a lot more iron collecting and many people would use torches to light out a large area since its less costly.

I like that Minecraft isn’t to modern, but one thing I think would be cool is carriages! You could attach two horses to the front using leads and then they would be able to carry two players at once.. not fancy carriages like, just little wooden wheeled things

Spider won't attack you during the day unless provoked Polar bear doesn't attack unless provoked or you meddle around their kids
spider and silverfish are fantasy versions of their IRL counterpart. they are massively upsized. If wizards and witches are fantasy, yet still humans, or giants are fantasy yet just big humans, i think the reasoning for the spiders and silverfish work polar bear is not hostile. it will only attack if you hit it or if it has a child nearby when you are nearby

The reason the auto crafting table is under review is because in 2014 minecraft was just such a different game and you didn’t have such industrial farms so now that the games changed maybe their considering it

4:16 they now have given amethyst a bigger use, allowing for it to be used in armour trims in 1.20. the cool colour can now be used to decorate leather, chainmail, iron, gold, diamond and netherite armour. other things that can be used for trims are emerald, diamond, gold, iron, netherite, copper, lapis, quartz and redstone. in addition, different trim patterns are available and found by exploring different structures / biomes such as the deep dark or woodland mansions.

I hate the “To force you to be creative excuse” because with more blocks and opportunities, people find ways to be even MORE creative then before! I mean just look at the progress of builds throughout the updates.

An uncrafting table would be nice. How it would work is you put in the item in the table and depending on durability, you get the raw materials back
that would be too overpowered and also uncraftable things like saddles and notch apples

Robots should be added. You should be able to craft an advanced crafting table with a nether star, 2 glass, a crafting table, and 2 obsidian. This gives you a 6x6 crafting area allowing you to craft many advanced redstone mechanisms, such as the robot or a 3x3 door, at the expense of extra inventory space.
