Facepool are releasing the MG Gunner at Ardennes (poteau) soon.
The thing on Kalt's back is a Zeltbahn, which could be worn and used a number of ways (such as a poncho or smock-like garment) but was primarily a shelter half.
One comes in the Horst and Blitz cavalry pack as well, it looks good on him
Ernst has a rolled-up shelter quarter on his back. Four of them make a small tent. It's slightly oversized in this scale so it doesn't roll up as compact as an original shelter quarter does.
Cool thanks for the info!
Altamente constructivo su comentario 👍
Awesome figures, they really look fantastic together.
Thanks my friend! These are excellent figures :)
Great set, was able to pick it up a fair few years ago when they were a little more available than they are now😂. Really great to see you picked them up, they’re some of the best dragon made! Great vid as ever mate.
Thanks so much man! This set was definitely worth paying a little more for. It's really incredible. Glad you have them too!
Superb figures congratulations I have been looking for those two for awhile. Really happy for you!
Thanks a lot Jonah! Hope you can find them one day, they're really awesome!
Another pair of awesome figures in your collection my friend!
Thanks Lorenzo!!
@@sirmathus96 Anytime Buddy!
great figures. they look like the're worth the price. something about Berthold Nasse's head sculpt, along with the scarf and helmet, it looks so real. the thing on Ernst Kalt's back is one of those tent paces that you can wear I think other german figures have had them before
Thanks for the comment man! Yes, definitely worth spending the money for. These figures are excellent.
Espectacular presentación, Sir. 🤝🇦🇷
Thank you! :)
congratulations. great figures. i have them in my collection too.
Thanks a lot Andre!
I always wanted these two
Very nice figures, never see them before
Thanks bro!!
Awesome video man. I have the Normandy headgerow grenadier or something.
Thanks a lot bro!
Very nice set! Good review!
Thanks so much!
Amazing figures man!
Thanks bro!!
Just a quick question hoping to start collecting do the badges and insignia have to be stuck on yourself with glue or are they stick-on or something ?
No problem. They have small pegs on the back of them that are supposed to stick on the uniform. It's pretty tricky to get them on tho, so I usually either leave them off, or the cut the pegs off and apply so glue to them. Hope that helps man
Here I am 1 year later and still haven’t found this set 😢
It's a tough one to find, but I hope you can get it soon! :)
I have one if interested. NIB
@@swannyisgod I bought one back in May of last year. Thanks tho
Omg I’m late ... niceee video and love the figures ! 😁
Thanks dude! :D
The Germans were impressed by the American M1 carbine, rightly so. The German Army even attached its own military nomenclature to the M1 carbine, something like Kar231(a), 'a' for, Amerikanische. WW2 photographs depict a few German soldiers in late 1944 carrying captured American M1 carbines. The M1 carbine was by then in widespread usage in the millions so captured samples and plentiful ammunition would be available. The German soldier is holding a pack of captured American cigarettes, "Lucky Strikes". To avoid copyright infringement litigation, Dragon Figures renamed it, "Jacky Strikes". Curiously, the two German soldiers are still wearing the iconic German Army march boots. The German Army stopped issuing march boots in late 1941. But existing inventory stocks were issued until depleted and if German soldiers still possessed them later in the war, they could wear it. Much of the reason was that Nazi Germany was cut off from its large leather imports from Argentina by the British Royal Navy. But by 1944 the typical German soldier was issued heavy leather ankle boots. These were based on the leather work ankle boots issued to German male citizens in the 1930s and early 40s, called up to undertake mandatory corvee labor before entering conscripted military service. When wearing the ankle boots, the trouser legs could not be bloused. But this was still accomplished by the wearing of ankle gaiters, usually made out of canvass so that the trouser pant legs could be bloused.
Great set & review
Thanks!
It may look rad and it has certainly been done, but arming oneself with a captured weapon is asking for trouble . What happens when you run out of ammo ? Or parts breakage...you know?
Exactly. I think it was also done for propaganda pictures if I'm not mistaken.
@@sirmathus96 I wouldn't know but as a former infantryman, I can say with some confidence that the resulting logistical kink up isn't worth the trouble. It's just easy to use what everyone else has....
Very cool figures
Thank you!
i got this pair . very nice figures...! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice! These two are incredible 👌
Where do you get the figs?
damn, where do you find all these nice figures?

Hey sir Mathis .... I have a lot of dragon model stuff I think you would be interested in how would I contact you..?
Cool I’ll take a look! You can reach me at collectermathis966@gmail.com
wait why was the ss logo on one of them crossed out?
They come with removable black stickers to cover the ss symbols in case it offends someone. I never took it off for the video :)
@@sirmathus96 oh ok that expains it. thanks
That’s awesome he’s got a pack of lucky strikes lol.
Indeed haha...the little details are awesome
Hello , beautiful figures, how much do they cost?...Thanks
Thanks! They cost me $190 with shipping :)
@@sirmathus96 Thanks you I would like to buy one I also collect figures but I don't know if they ship to Colombia thanks
This set doesn't pop up on ebay very often but when it does, be ready to bid aggressively because it's a highly desirable item. One came available about two weeks ago and I won it for $207 with shipping and tax which hiked the final price to $260. Dragon made a couple other figures from the same series of photos including their celebratory 2nd anniversary figure.
Sir Mathus, I always enjoy your videos but it won't hurt to give a ballpark figure on what you paid. I notice you never state in any video that I have seen. We don't need an exact number because obviously it could widely deviate from that but just some general idea. Maybe I will never see this set "in the wild" but if I do I'd like to know is it going for $200, $150? What exactly. Keep up the great content.
Thanks for the comment man! I do actually give the amount I paid in many of my videos, but yeah not for all. I can start doing that more if you'd like. With shipping I paid around $190 for this. I wouldn't pay anymore than $200 for it.
@@sirmathus96 Ouch! Yeah, I don't think I will be picking them up anytime soon. :) Thanks for the info.
I picked this set up recently on ebay with a winning bid of $207. I also paid $16.00 in tax and $40.00 shipping.
I wish I didn't get rid of mine 😩
Oh that sucks man :(
I can’t freakin find this set, it’s my most wanted. I hope you never sell it
Ah yeah it's a real struggle to find this one. It's one of my favorites. Good luck in your search man!
@@sirmathus96 Thank you, I’ll let you know when I buy it.
How much you pay for it ?
Around $190 for it
