For a semi-realistic carrier landing, start with an upwind pass on the carrier along the starboard (right) side of the ship at 200m altitude and 250kmh speed with tailhook down. Once you pass the bow, start a 180° turn until you're heading the opposide direction of the carrier (downwind leg) and about 3/4 - 1 mile (about 1-2 km) away from the carrier's port (left) side. Keep 200m altitude and drop your airspeed to 200kmh. During this downwind leg, drop your gear and put full flaps. Once you pass the stern (rear) of the carrier, count 12 seconds then start a turn towards your final approach on the carrier. During this turn you should start dropping your altitude to 100m and airspeed to about 150-180kmh (just enough to keep out of a stall). If you turn right, you should be just starboard (right) of the carrier and inline with the landing strip of the carrier (remember the landing strip is angled to the left about 10-15°). Make your final heading adjustments using your ailerons and altitude adjustments using the throttle. Try not to use elevators too much to adjust altitude since you are just above stall speed and could put you in a stall or start to overspeed. On final, you should be constantly switching your eyes on you lineup with the carrier, altitude gagues, and airspeed guages. Don't fix your eyes on one of these or you might get out of alignment, speed, or altitude. These last few moments happen in a few seconds if flown correctly, so be prepared. All you have to do is fly her onto the deck and catch the wires (the #3 wire, or the 2nd wire you fly over ideally), and thats it! Simple as that! The speed units I gave aren't correlated to actual flight speeds but it works in Arma.
The to-201 is based of of the export version of the T-50 pakfa if I'm not mistaken

thetacticalclothmonster there is no carrier on vanilla arma 3 the jet update adds one in but the one he is useing is a old mod called USS Nimitz its very buggy so the offical carrier will be amazing when it comes out

Well the carrier they're using in this video is from a mod that does have working lifts. We'll have to find out about the carrier in the DLC.
so an su-35 cross with a pak fa su-50, an f-22 cross with an f/a-18 with a little bit of f-35 and a jas-39 gripen cross with the tiniest bit of Viggen ajs-37

If the laser marker-thingy is a "targeting pod" and you can change the loadout of jets in the DLC, can't you add it to any jet? 'cause that was one of the Neophron's edges over the others, wasn't it? To designate its own targets. That on a Wipeout sounds brutal.
just FYI, wipeout has a targeting pod integrated. And a Laser Designator. In fact, the buzzard does as well... Every plane in A3 has one. Did you... did you not look this up first? or ever even try?
How active the camera at 2:07?
They really need to add fly-by sound effects. The doppler shift is way too aggressive when the planes fly over you and they end up sounding off.

no, all you have to do is port forward or use a 3rd party program then host a game and then use the 3den editor option, do your shit after that just play.

Don't you have a HOTAS? It helps with flying and will increase your flying skills
