➤Prince Phantom 100X 18x20 Racquet 2024: www.tennis-warehouse.com/descp...
Introducing the third generation of the Phantom 100x 18x20! Like previous versions, this racquet's 18x20 string patterns and 59-RA stiffness capture the pinpoint accuracy and buttery feel of the game's best traditional player's racquets. With its 327 RDC swingweight, the Phantom 100x 18x20 offers a nice balance between speed and stability, giving it a stable feel against higher levels of pace without feeling sluggish in the front court. Technologies include Prince's Anti-Torque System, which is located at 10 & 2 in the head and combines Textreme with Zylon, a synthetic polymer added in 2024 to further enhance stability without compromising maneuverability. Prince also combines Zylon and Textreme in the shaft to further enhance stability and optimize feel. Other features include a CTS beam construction, which features an ultra thin shaft for feel along with thicker cross sections in the head for stability and power. Ultimately, with subtle tweaks to the feel, the Phantom 100x 18x20 continues to be a great option for experienced players looking for the undeniable precision and sublime feel of a classic player's racquet.

  • Aloha! Great review guys (gals)!! I just received my first batch of these racquets and took some frame specification readings. Compared to the previous version, it's nice to see that the swingweight and frame stiffness have been beefed up a little. With this update, I'm sure most previous owners will appreciate this alteration! 🤙

  • I’ve been monitoring to see if there will be improvements to the 2019 Prince Phantom Pro 100 (18×20) racket. The new versions' beem widths are thicker. I keep hoping they’ll give me the same specs but with new improved tech. I own 6 of the same racket and use Solinco TourBite/HyperG 20g on the mains with Gosen Micro OG Sheep 18g multi-filament on the cross 54/52 lbs. I play doubles 6+ times a week. The racket is solid at the net, and I can hit conistant baseline to baseline depth shots. My slice back-hand can knife low sharp shots with the assistance of the thin beem and 18x20 string pattern. I like the como, but the cosmetics are not my concern. I will consider doing a demo campare. 2019 Specs: Length 27 in 69 cm Head Size 100 sq in 645 sq cm Weight 11.9 oz 337 gm (11.3/ 320 unstrung) Balance Point 12.4 in 31 cm 9pts Head Light Construction 20.5mm / 19.5mm / 16.5mm / Composition Textreme/Graphite String Pattern 18 Mains / 20 Crosses Swing weight 295

  • How is the forgiveness of this racquet compared to the previous generation's 100x 18x20 model? and phantom pro 100p from the first black/green generation? The review from previous 100x 18x20 seems to highlight great forgiveness but for this new generation, there have been some comment about smaller sweetspot.

  • Would this be similar to my Prince Textreme 100p 18x20? It’s my fave racquet of all time.

    • This one is heftier, and also plays with a bit more control and feel. The 100P also has good control and feel, but has a bit thicker beam than this one so packs a bit easier power or energy return, and also is easier to maneuver. Troy, TW

  • Great review! How similar is this to the Percept 97D? I’m looking to switch due to cracking issues and am looking for a similar racket that also is soft/comfortable due to wrist issues. Thanks!

    • This could potentially be a great option or alternative I would say it is fairly similar in maneuverability, maybe even more whippy (that thin beam cuts through the air well). Lot of comfort, control, and good feel for the ball. The only sort of adjustment I made was that I found I needed to drop tension a bit with a full bed of poly; it helped to open up the sweet-spot a bit. Troy, TW

  • How do you compare with Yonex Percept 100D (18x19)?? Thank you!

    @farhan3994@farhan39945 күн бұрын
    • Overall, I would say it is closer to the Percept 97D, besides the 100 headsize. It is closer in weight, and is a bit lower in power closer to the 97D, from the thin and flexible beam. The 100D is easier to maneuver, and provides a bit easier power or energy return. Troy, TW
