That would be a lonely, cold place wouldn't it? Makes me shudder to think about not having dogs in the world. I'm not terribly fond of cats myself, I'm allergic as all hell, it would suck more for me to see the pain of my friends and relatives from the loss than their actual absence. Don't get me wrong I love cats, I just have to avoid them like they have Covid. Sucks when I see a kitten that I'd like nothing more than to smother with lovins, but can't get within 5 feet of without every bit of soft tissue in my face itching and oozing lol. That and cats have never felt very affectionate to me, they show their love in more subtle ways I think. And at least with a dog, there's a pecking order lol, human is alpha and dog is beta, but cats just assume they are alpha and that's that. Lol. Kinda makes sense though, felines are typically pretty solitary animals, always on the prowl stalking prey while canines evolved to be social hunters.

Well, it wasn't just lucky. It took humans over a thousand years of hard work and a lot of people getting mauled by wolves until we finally managed to create dogs.
Then people would get birds,parrots and budgies, some budgies are always playfull and are like dogs.And hamsters are like cats. But I still can't imagine how it would be without pets

I still can't get over how big red/ginger dog's son is! He can be the big protector now! But why didn't red dog want to eat? Wonder if she's scared because the puppies' mom was there too?
