    • It took me half a year , don’t you have a belt test 2 times every year ? If you get another belt in a week your most likely in a fake dojo

After 4 stripes you wait another 6 months or so and that determines if you move up or not. I’m white belt 2 stripes and it’s almost been a year. It takes someone who trains jiujitsu a LONG time. Over 5 years. I guess that also depends on what gym you go to.
