This video is to show you how to make a simple 16 LED chaser using 74HC595 IC. You need to use 4V DC as power supply.

    • Even with 4vdc, you should add a resistor previous a led to avoid damages.

    • Offcourse, But make sure that your LEDs can handle 5V. If you are using 5mm LED then use 100Ω resistors.

    • Yes, by controlling clock spead of timer ic , just place a 10 k variable resistance in series of 3.3 k resistance from pin no 7 to 6 😊
