I’m a bit confused. It doesn’t appear to be anything new added. Matter of fact nothing new has been added to catch finishers for years. This is another feature 2K seems to have added and abandoned.

One thing I found out,I was going for a springboard towards the outside and Roman caught me with a spear as a catch finisher,I don’t think that was in the games before.

@@angelserrano9049 You and the 2nd guy are thinking about pop up finishers, not top rope catch finishers. Pop up finishers worked for most people even before the patch. Catch finishers are not working for most people on both patches.

If only they added custom music,create a finisher,create a story,universe mode it would basically be 2K14 remastered I hope they add this in the next games especially for 2K25 or 2K26 we get custom music and especially old songs for wrestlers like randy,Kane,drew,Kofi,mvp old song especially randy burn in my light and slow chemical for Kane and broken dreams and sos for Kofi and drew

These are the same Catching finishers from the past few games btw. No changes to the animations were made.
So they added catching finishers when they first released the game or they added it in the patch and was it in 2K23 and 2K22?

Yep, you only need that the wrestler has it assigned as the aerial finisher (sometimes you have to do it manually)

You couldn’t do catching finishers if your opponent was jumping off of the top rope before in the new patch they added that feature back
