Messi 2010-2012 before his hamstring injuries in 2013 was the best prime ever. This would be the best individual season of all time without his bad physical shape and his injury problems in the 2nd half of the season

Messi was insane in the first half of the 12/13 season. Without his bad physical shape and his hamstring injuries in the 2nd half of the season, this would be the best individual season of all time. Messi 2010-2012 before his hamstring injuries in 2013 was the best prime ever. I think he could reach an even higher level without this injuries and we never saw the real peak of him, bcs he lost his pace and explosivness after the injuries
You are right I don't think we did see his true peak even though he was great in 2012. I also think that the injuries forced him to change his playing style faster than expected and he became more of a playmaker since 2015. He was still great but the Messi opponents feared most was from 2010-2013.

People have to stop saying that Messi was still in his prime after 2015. The fact is he was not because injuries in 2013 and 2014 made him adapt his game faster than what was supposed to be and we actually never saw what Messi was truly capable of in terms of goal scoring even though he was incredible in 2012. The Messi opponents feared most in big matches was from 2010-2013.

@@mohit_10 I did and yes Messi was obviously still incredible in 2019 but it was still not his best version as a player simply because of his physical decline and loss of speed and explosiveness. The Messi after 2015 was not able to go on so many solo runs anymore.
