Got the same issue up in Michigan, I've tried ty mow my lawn 3 times and only been able to mow a quarter of it so far without sinking my zero turn in mud

You need to look into Meg-mo blades for your smallest mower you won't regret it. I have a set on my 32" zero turn Toro. Mine is a single blade meg-mo sent me a eight blade set up I absolutely love it

I think that is first I've ever heard the Grandstand bog down. Hope the weather gives you some windows to get your work done
Company I mow for has us cut in the rain as long as it’s not pouring, last season we were getting 3”-4” at a time , twice a week in Connecticut, got to the point they didn’t even care about leaving ruts

Evening folk. Ear pain seems to be caused though impacted wisdom teeth so I don't think there's anything more serious going on but time will tell when the mri results come back

I got my Grasshopper 220 stuck mowing my range yesterday. I've been stuck 3 other times in two mowings. This has been on flat ground! Crazy wet here this year.

The guys that mow my farm came and mowed the 3rd of this month and I called them yesterday and asked them if they were going to come and mow before it rains again this weekend and they said they were the other lawns mowed before they come and mow mine again and my grass is taller than what you just mowed and I live in Kentucky

Good Evening even in 10 days part of my grass is so high even cutting at 4” mower does not like it.
My exmark lazer z had its idler pulley fall of last week and i tried to mow 4 or more days overdue now im over a week overdue and if it cut at 5” i think i will still be cutting off too much and i dont have the parts yet. And its supposed to rain

if the weather keeps like this every year...for the owner switching to a robot mower might be a good option to consider their so light and can keep the grass under constant attention stopping it getting out of hand, means getting the right one can be surprisingly good on ground that simply consistently refuses to dry up..
We just spent this week double cutting every single yard because of last weeks rain. It has been a week!

I cut one yesterday that was the first cut of the season. Seed heads every bit of 4’ tall. This is a joke.

The higher the grass gets, the least likely it is for the ground to dry up, it is a no win situation.

ugh yesterday, it was the first time it had not rained in two days, it was actually warm enough to walk around without a cardi. I sprained some ligments behind my knee but needs must. Got my daughter to mow, then the battery died (light weightpush mower) and so i had to finish the lawn she didn't get to and go over the others again the bin was three quarters full..plus the snipping and edging with a half moon cutting tool all by hand (well foot)...all done very slowly over the day...plus all the extra washing because daughters washing machine door had come off...needless to say my leg was killing me....can't wait to get to the weeding. Rained all day today of course lol.

What you complaining about? It’s windy and lawn looks dry enough to mow. Yes I’m a landscape maintenance guy. Stop complaining, especially with such big machines it’s a breeze. One thing for sure I won’t of used them machines because of the muddy soil.
Thank goodness you are here to tell us how easy it is. What kind of equipment should be used. You are right, it's windy and rainy all at the same time. The Grand Stand 32" deck is one of the smaller zero turn. Now, on the 1-2 acre properties, I could always use a push mower. Maybe you spend a day or and I would never have another issue. The rain is not the issue. My sarcasm aside, it is the amount. When you get larger quantities day in and day out with very little recovery the ground can become saturated. I know I don't need to tell a person of your genius level IQ something so inconsequential as that. My sarcasm took over again, so very sorry. Oops, the sarcasm thing keeps slipping out.
There are so many properties that could use a French drain. We had one installed two years ago in our backyard and it has been a blessing.
So, they shouldn’t complain because they have nice big machines but you wouldn’t use the machines because of the mud? I don’t get what you’re trying to say. Sounds like contradictory advise. Which is it?
