The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. This is an extended highlight because every match that Tsitsipas played was extended.
Hahah😂😂
Beautiful tennis from Tsitsipas -- winners from forehand, backhand, volley, drop shots and serve aces -- and great resolve in 5th set Grand Slam matches this year -- exciting player to watch and he's had the best year of his career. Amazing progress and looking forward to seeing what he can do in the coming years.
He can do more bathroom break in upcoming years that's sure
I was not a Murray fan past years but now that he's trying to come back at high level, yes. Great Murray, respect for You and for your beautiful, proud Country. Greetings from Rome Italy
British when he's winning, Scottish when he's not 👍
Your country is more beautiful and Rome one of the most beautiful cities on the planet.
Glad Andy is back playing at this level, but you can see his frustration from the 2nd set with his shoes problem. He always seemed on edge. When Tsitsipas took that break he really didnt handle it well.
He probably got frustrated after he lost 2 set having set point and all.
I love to watch him play, but he was more accepting of reality when playing the big 3. The two combatants are not friends.
Stop talking about the toilet break lol it’s not funny anymore. Just focus on the match itself which was absolutely great.
Andy kept it super close vs Tsitsipas, and was arguably the better player. The problem comes when he has to play great players on consecutive days. Still great to see flashes of the Murray of old 💥
He lost because of Shitsipas's toilet breaks.
This was first round 👍 He still lost Enjoy with friends and family 👍🙏☺️
I think the old Murray would've won in 4 sets and that fairly comfortable. But Im very happy to see him on court again.
@@ehrenamtlicherehrenmann4152 yeah, of course. He's 34 and has a metal hip. He'll never play the same as he played during his glory days, obviously. That's why the guy said "flashes" of old Murray.
@@popantermopan4099 you know nothing about the game. Bagel no problem
This match was so entertaining to watch. A very physical and high quality 5-hour thriller. How Tsitsipas managed to elevate his game and win while suffering from a foot injury was amazing!
stef plays so beyond beautifully
I love how Murray is the thumbnail when Tsitsipas won 😂
The channel knows who the true champion is
Top 3 Matches of the tournement
BAR vs Kygrios was far better 👍
@@Phurngirathaana are you serious?!? Top 3 worst matches of the tournament probably
1. Zverev vs Djokovic 2. Murray vs Tsitsipas 3. Alcaraz vs Tsitsipas 4. Apostolos Tsitsipas’s texts vs Murray
I’m one of those people who hoped Andy would win this match
I didnt. Andy looks grumpy all the time. I dont like him.
@@ChristiaanRoest79 Did u watch the match? The dude took a 20 min bathroom break and ruined his momentum...
Yeah. Tsitsipas’ behaviour is awful
@@nathanhoang4915 20min and momentum after winning the previous set ? 😂😂😂😂
The quality of play and video are all very high! I really like the shot angle, much better than usual TV ones!
Glad uploaded this extended highlight been waiting for it 👍🏻😀
If Tsitsipas improves from 2021-2022 as much as he did from 20-21 he’ll be world number one by end of next year. He has all the shots and just needs to develop a killer instinct bc he’s lost a lot of finals and semis this year
didnt age well eh
Upload the full match!
Despite his controversy, I really like Tsitsipas and he's obviously a great player. I honestly think he'll win next year's French Open, and I'm hoping he does too.
as long as nadal is still playing, he got no chance
🚽🚽🚽
@@muresanraul5962 No offense to Nadal, but I think he's done personally. Too old and injured at this point to win a final again
@@initialize21 i would not agree with that, any next gen player is still too unexperienced and weak to beat an old nadal at french open's clay. djokovic and nadal are still the beasts that are gonna dominate the tour for at least 2 more years.
I think Medvedev will win Paris 2021
Top NexGen player against legend making a come-back. So much fun!
Where is the main highlight of the match... 😂😂😂
Tsitsipas plays more spectacularly than Medvedev but the Russian is more substantial.
Tsitsipas matches against defensive top players always enjoyable especially against Nadal
Great match from Tsitsipas!
Great tennis from both players. Stefanos' backhand down the line looks just like Roger's.
Please upload the Alcaraz & Tsitsipas match :)
Happy to see a great player back on court. Andy inspite of a big n prolonged surgery u can defeat other players. Rafael n u deserve full credit. No other player can manage to play especially Rafael still the best after umpteen surgeries since more than a decade.
When you think Murray could have won the match in straight sets.
😭
Plot twist- it was all staged, to give Murray the illusion of winning!
Murray is 3 Time grandslam champion Tsitsipas still have 0 major titles when medvedev and Thiem have 1 major title.
I keep watching this
Now upload the full match!!!
Murray's expressions reminds me of those memes.
Maxime cressy vs pablo Carreno busta extended highlights ples!!!
THIS MATCH
Why extended highlights of first round matches? Will they ulpoad all 127 matches?
because this was a top seed vs andy murray and a very close match deserving of a longer video!
Ooooh Alcaraz vs Tsitsipas Highlights are nearing !!
8:30 Can we please get full matches shot from this perspective? Just look at the footwork, the tiny movements, the swings and crazy spin. You can really appreciate the greatness of these pros from this POV.
No awful angle
A nearly 5 hour match with 2 breaks seems reasonable. He didn't break any rules. People just want to to hate as it's fashionable.
He did - he was clearly receiving off- court coaching via a mobile phone. That is against the rules.
@@jorisbonson386 proof?
@@OUTTAIDEAS88 you watched the game right?
@@jorisbonson386 I watched the match....I didn't see any cell phone use.
@@OUTTAIDEAS88 1) He had a phone with him in the changing room which he carried out in his kit bag - within 30 seconds of leaving his father was seen texting like mad from the team box and for most of the time he was absent. 2) When he came back his style of play had changed completely. 3) He had already received several warnings for coaching throughout the tourniment. 4)Nobody spends SEVEN minutes on a toilet break - half that at most. He was clearly cheating, hence all the controversy - but feel free to be in the minority convincing themselves otherwise 👍
the real unfairness to murray-to both players, really-was done by whoever created this draw. murray certainly isn’t at the level he used to be, but had been showing a lot of improvement leading up to this tournament. and to put a former champion working his way back into form against the world number 3 in the first round is a huge disservice to everyone involved. this was a great match, but it should have been in the 3rd round or quarters
Personally I think that if they had met later, Murray would’ve lost easily as he has been doing bad as he goes deeper in the draw. He was able to challenge Tsitsipas because he was fresh.
They are paired according to their seed lol so if your are seeded #1 your opponent in the first round would be the person who is seeded last newbie
@@felixfranco oh most definitely. i’m not talking about murray having a chance to win the match, i’m talking about murray getting more time on the stage of the us open and more of a chance to improve his ranking. as well as tsitsipas as the number 3 seed not having to face a player of murray’s caliber in the first round. regardless of his diminished form, he’s currently playing waaay above where he’s ranked. and he still has the skills and knowledge of an all time great, just not the strength and stamina at the moment
@@nathanielsnyder7396 excellent points, totally agree!
@@melduya2994 yes, mel, i understand how seeding works. so if you’ll use your powers of deduction, in essence what i was saying was that as a former champion and all-time great, murray was “seeded” too low. but of course you’ll know that most of the players in a tournament(including mr. murray in this us open) are not “seeded” at all; hence the term...”unseeded”. the tournament organizers are free to use whatever criteria they feel are valid to create a draw that will produce a champion that best reflects who is playing the best tennis on the given surface at the time of the tournament. because of his coming back from injury and retirement, murray’s general atp ranking is quite low, and he’s getting wild cards entries into tournaments that his ranking alone would not afford him, but the current level of tennis he is playing is much higher than his ranking would suggest. so again, what i’m saying is anyone who thinks murray was the(by your logic)“3rd weakest” player in that tournament knows very little about tennis.
Highlights missing 8 minute toilet break :-) That was the highlight of the match :-)
When was the break?
@@Wordalways You can guess. It is obvious at start of fifth set.
Only 8 minutes. Not that long
@@ChristiaanRoest79 8 mins sounds like a really long time.

Tsitsipas v Alcaraz extended highlights PLEASE.
Shitshitpaas sounds like relief after prolonged constipation
Glad Murray showed Tsitsitwat
What did he show him? How to make a scene on court, and get the whole crowd behind him? Yep, it sure worked, until he lost!
@@pauljohnson6019 He showed your mum
Sir crybaby Murray 😂😂😂
Murray was such a cry baby during this match... kinda lost my respect for him a bit after this.
He had every right especially with Shitsipus and his toilet breaks
25:20 what did he say? English speakers help me out.
This murray guy shouldnt let his emotions get the better of him if he wants to be a grand slam winner. Tsitsipas showing so much resilience against a younger player. Vamos tsitsipas!
Andy Murray grand slam wins: 3, Toiletpass: 0. Andy Murray career high world ranking: 1, Toiletpass: 3. If it wasn't for his opponent's cheating he'd have wiped the floor with him. Oh, and Murray is over 10 years older than Toiletpass.
@@jorisbonson386 and he has a metal hip
@@fabioferri4805 Well yes, but he showed no signs of that during recent performances which is all the more astonishing
@@jorisbonson386 yes he is an incredible athlete and warrior
He reached Wimbledon 3rd round in 2021 which is big thing for sure.
I'm a Brit, but Murray's grunting, wailing and exaggerated celebrations were so off putting that I ended up rooting for Tsitsipas.
Not a true Brit then
Haha murray is not a,good sportsman
18:00 Tsitsipas preparing to return serve or preparing to catch the ball in his mouth😮🐶

I came to see the 8 minute bathroom break.
Toiletpas vs Mumblerray
ah the infamous toilet gate!
Alcaraz Tsitsipas extended please ! 😊
Shitsipas did not deserve this win.
I expect 30 minutes from the 40 minutes of hightlights are just Tsitsipas going to the bathroom
💀
Murray was a great champion but like all the english people they do not accept defeat.
A) Tsitsipas took a ridiculous bathroom break, Murray is not the only player to take issue with him B) He's Scottish, not English

Defeat to what? Toilet you mean?
Genx or gen losers
Tsitsipas - cames out dump manners every match.
Cheatsipas, Textsipas
Yes he is at rank 5 and now 3 because he cheats and all they discover now. Idiots!
Better call Saul 😂😂😂

Amazing you captured any tennis at all given Tsitsipas spent all his time in the toilet
Diss Tsitsipas all you want for toilet breaks They don't give you the elixir of life He won this fairly Murray's a great player but this time he was outplayed

I am tired of this grumpy Scottish guy. How many times has he complained about his opponents? Almost every time he lost.
At last somebody says the obvious. Happy for his comeback and I wish him well, but his manners on court really make him unbearable to watch at times.
imagine if they added the toilet break to this, thats another 2 hours at least!
