Lyrics:
Now I see the times they change
Leaving doesn't seem so strange
I am hoping I can find
Where to leave my hurt behind
All the shit I seem to take
All alone I seem to break
I have lived the best I can
Does this make me not a man?

I remember being shocked at the level of violence in the Slayer - "Repentless" music video, and that certainly didn't have an age restriction on it.

They were very popular with a lot of kids in my town during those years, because for some reason, we were all angry, full of rage and pissed off at the world. We were young, angry, broke and reckless. My teenage years were full of blunts, bowls, 40's and Korn. I've grown up a lot since then, but Korn will always hold a special place in my life, mainly because of helping me through the hardest times.

Anyhow, I listen 90% of times only FULL albums (end to end) because they usually tell the whole "story". I have days when I listen to several albums from the same band ... end to end. For example, when Sepultura released Quadra, before anything else, I have listened to ALL of their albums, chronologically, since Against and then I jumped into Quadra. My only recommendation is: LIVE YOUR LIFE THE WAY YOU WANT IT = Listen your music the way you want to play it = eat your food the way you want to serve it = f__K the way you want it ... and so on ... but never forget that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! • Man… This song truly describes the battle in my brain.. I am diagnosed with major depression and anxiety along with night terrors (sometime back to back/severe) and another diagnosis I don’t remember but I know I have the paper for. This song represents my struggles as a man. Especially that line” I have lived the best I can: Does this make me not a man”: resonates so so much I have had so many damn struggles and my two doctors that are working on me now want me to see a specialist (mainly bc of my mothers history: many drugs: cancer: and bipolar) I am out of high school but feel like I’m completely lost in life it honestly miserable I never had a real relation with a woman all I really have are my family I know and my best friends I have known them for nearly a decade now and we grew up together but it still feels like I’m falling behind. I had brushes with death and even used my medications with alcohol (DO NOT DO THAT) many many times and even had to go to the hospital for a medical reason: but agh I overthink too much : too many bills: work: collage/trades: and so much more but I’m just fighting myself in my brain I lash out randomly at times and it seems every time I fall down and hit the ground a new trap door opens then it repeats again.. Sorry for the long comment; this song just reminds me of my mental struggles.

    • Agreed! And to me, they’re some of the best and one of my fav bands! Some other great bands imo are Green Day and Simple Plan, and Escape the Fate. They all got songs that are relatable
